Sorry but, the new gsxr is nice because of the electronics…..maybe, but as far as major performance differences, I’m not convinced! These bikes are all mostly sorted by 2010., so for the street, which is what your talking about here, are these 2 bikes that different to pay $3-4000 dollars more? These are also rolling starts in a straight line, and we all know sportbike riding isn’t just about straight line speed! Lastly, electronics help riders maintain advantages at speed, but they aren’t a requirement to achieve and maintain a speed, good riding technique is probably more important, and bad habits or good riding habits tend to atrophy when electronic riding aids are relied heavy upon. Nothing is a substitute to properly handling any sportbike, through practiced techniques!
