Did you have fitment issues with the mid pipe being way too close to the drive shaft? I installed mine and within 10 minutes my drive shaft snapped 😭🥲

I feel like if you used a scrub brush for like cleaning, maybe it would help soften up the carpet because it would probably help like a comb and loosen up the fibers.

I'm not sure the comet has anything to do with anything. It doesn't bead off because you sanded it and it's clean. Just sanding it and wiping it down with grease and wax remover or paint prep would have done the same thing in my belief.

I have a 2004 base model 350z with an open differential. I want to swap to a lsd but I don’t know exactly how. Do you only need to swap out the differential itself or is there more parts like the axles that need to be replaced.

Dude just go to Harbor Freight and get the ball joint and bushing kit and slide those mothers out. Or if you still want to be kind of cheap you can take a drill bit that's big enough and you run it around the rubber until it's gone and then use a punch or a chisel to knock that outer cap away from the differentialAnd then just take a hammer and knock that outer cap out. And then you can use your ball joint press to reinstall it. Or you can spend about 100 and some change on a hydraulic press from Harbor Freight or even buy one cheaper on Marketplace and then put those bushings in the freezer for a minute and press them in

This car does not come with a Bose system, which is why you didn't find Bose speakers. A 350Z equipped with a Bose system would have a Bose subwoofer with a Bose logo behind the driver's seat. The advantage of this setup is that it allows for straightforward replacement of the head unit without needing to bypass the Bose amplifier
