This was my first resident evil. Although people may say this version’s sound track is not as good as the original. I could argue that apart from the basement theme and the underground theme, this soundtrack is just as great. 9/10 for me at least. The alternative forest theme is my favorite one, leagues above the original.
Funny thing is I don't mind this soundtrack and the original was different for me which made the remake version unique I guess I just love the game for what it is regardless of soundtrack my fav is gonna be 2 though but each has its strengths re is classic always for me
This is the superior version of Resident Evil 1 Save Room themes. Unlike the Original and Remake versions, this Director's Cut version keeps the eerie horror feel intact. You're safe, but not really. Unlike the Original and Remake versions that are a lot more of a less fear Save Haven sound and feel. This save theme is more haunting.
my life was easier when my parents were married... they were inseparatable... but when my dad changed into a bad & annoying way he ruined everything...
Ah old Resident Evil and Director Cut series and we got memory card save game files finally beating games monster defeat it my childhood and memories so cool and fun.
I come here from time to time to reminisce. I used to watch my father when I was a boy play this game. For some reason this is a song from the past that would comfort me when I have had a bad day.
Well, exists two versions of the Resident Evil Director's Cut, the standard version with the original classic soundtrack and the Dual Shock version with a new soundtrack, probably you were played the standard Director"s Cut (non Dual Shock) because this save room theme is from Director's Cut Dual Shock version. Sorry for my english.
excelente música que recuerdos y infancia que gran juego que tuve la oportunidad de jugar desde que era niño y ese resident evil daba miedo el sus tiempos 😊
literally, the only good song on the director's cut. That one abrupt high note just throws me off though. even those 2 low notes go somewhat well with it... but just that one note, ugh.

This theme was for kids back then the adults had a different version of this
Such an odd mix of pure terror and smooth sweet music. Its wonderful all rounded up though.

Author: Edit caption. It`s Dual Shock version music.....Director`s Cut version have original music
I really enjoy this theme
Reminds me of Brahms lullaby song. Like a music box.
Ugh it's so bitterly good. I want to change it but my mind want me to keep it on... it's so weird!!
Better than the original
so close to sub
sounds like a demonic music box it fits good in the game
This is not DC's OST, this is dual shock's specifically version.
Is that gba ok? Are you holding it hostage?
TAS
dat gba did time in federal prison
Lmao haha

REBECCA!!
This isn't in the PS Plus digital version. Feelsbadman, its without a doubt my favorite save theme
my life was easier when my parents were married... they were inseparatable... but when my dad changed into a bad & annoying way he ruined everything...
i'm... i'm sorry...
Reminds me a bit of Resi 2 save room with the background strings.
One of the few gems that the dual shock soundtrack did have to offer us.
I don't know why, but for me, this theme don't sound scary, sounds sad and depressed.
no.
For me sounds peaceful and relaxing
Sounds like running down stairs to peek Santa & run into krampus instead
put on the tittle - DUAL SHOCK version because the directors cut without DUAL SHOCK support the music is different
The only Room and music in the game where I felt "Safe" 🤣🤣
I definitely heard worse from this soundtrack.
Ah old Resident Evil and Director Cut series and we got memory card save game files finally beating games monster defeat it my childhood and memories so cool and fun.
This is an absolute travesty lmao.

I don't remember this track from Resident Evil Directors Cut. The one I played had different music and also the cover art was different than this one.

@@GordoFreakmanFail-Life Ja, I've never played the Dualshock Version. Original DC only.
@@CelinMa Yep, probably. However, you can try to play the Dual Shock version.
It sounds like a broken music box is playing over dramatic music
This reminds me of when chit was such simple mane ={
I know :( world hasent been this bad since cold war era
So many of these comments are pure cringe 😂
Sounds like you’re in a room full of creepy dolls.
How do people hate this soundtrack?? REDC soundtrack is a classic. Very eerie and moody
people hate the basement theme
MMMMYYYYY EEEAARRRRSSSS AAAAAHHHHHHHHH HEEEEEELLPPP MMMEEEEEE
Que chido se escuchan esas campanitas de miedo y a la vez tranquilidad no pudo quedar otro sonido mejor que este bien👍😊
Ice Cream Save Room Theme...
So good. Love it ❤❤
it's Oct 14th, 2021. Had this song stuck in my head since 1998.
This song haunted me since 1997
excelente música que recuerdos y infancia que gran juego que tuve la oportunidad de jugar desde que era niño y ese resident evil daba miedo el sus tiempos 😊

Si, just relax and play.
hahahahahaha
Check Health, Check Ammo, and Ink Ribbons then save and head back out into danger
2001 is when I first played this on ps2 bring back good old memories wish I could bring them back

There are some gems like this one in the Dualshock soundtrack. It aint all bad
mansion first floor is pretty creepy imo
This music makes me more depressed the older I get ... makes me think of how much my youth has slipped past me ... playing this in 1998 was amazing!
There was a real safe zone there, after all of us got out of there and descent into the darkness
I feel you man.. believe me you are not alone!
i agree with you
i'm 44
resident evil director cut version? sounds more like a resident evil fairy tale version!
This has hints of the music box puzzle at the clock tower in resident evil 3. Remember playing this with the double item cheat on advanced.
