@@Staroy In theory yes the oval handle would be better. We do offer some model as oval handle. However, as this is an interpret replica model with replica fitting to stay true to original we opt to go with a round handle. It work okay with a bit of practice you get use to how the round handle work in your hand.

Honestly, we do not know. The design on the blade is common in region between Lanna and Burma and we choose to go with design that was quite generic and common.

@@siameseedge It is not common.Burmese Bird's Wing Sowrds have different characteristics . So much different from Thai swords and Lanna swords. You are showing the fake one. It is not a actual burmese sword.

As this is a piece that inspire by Burmese Dha antique we work on while we retain the characteristic and handling similar to burmese Dha we tone some aspect to make it easier to handle for beginner. As original Burmese Dha are harder to handle if not by train person in our opinion. On the other side, locating and finding a good quality Dha from Myanmar is extremely hard nowaday. Cheer.

Might as well get a real Burmese dha at this point, looks like a regular machete that we cut our wood or bushes with.😂 overpriced, even the real one cause around $200 USD mid price price.
