Moved to Jacksonville FL from Ft Lauderdale FL about 4/5 years ago. Lost track of time. Its nowhere as bad as people make it out to be. Theres a bunch of good places to go and live. The north side is total trash and it makes the entire city look horrible. They have better beaches then in S FL. Theres sort of waves here and a much easier beach to walk on. Traffic is nothing compared to Miami. Still half the price of living down there. Plus people here speak english! Yes there's plenty of spanish people from all over the world, but at least they try. No hablo espanol, lo siento. Gracias y De Nada. Oh wait, Jacksonville doesn't have a professional baseball team that no one goes too, only a minor league where more people go there then to the Marlins. Despite the worst name in all sports, Jumbo Shrimp. An NFL team that has won multiple playoff games in the last decade. Miami has the Heat. Jacksonville has Gators Vs Bulldogs. Jacksonville gets more rock/metal concerts. Tallahassee has nothing. It's just a truck stop that you can go past within 10 minutes on the highway. Tampa is dirty everywhere. Orlando is always under construction and full of sink holes. Its a fun night life in places but still way to over priced. Jacksonville has an international airport. Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Ft Lauderdale do as well. West Palms and Daytona's airport are jokes I don't care what you call them.
