Women dont know about shrinkage?
I have seen several Technicolor films, but not this one, projected from original nitrate prints by carbon arc. They had a certain look which Easrmancolor prints could not quite reproduce. I recently saw The Red Shoes projected from a DCP, and it came closer to the original Technicolor look than other restorations that I have seen.
Watching this movie in theater made me fall in love with technicolor films. They are so gorgeous!
showbiz audio visual medium has delighted audiences kept them hooked entertained amidst really strange conditions like lockdowns and others somebody sick in bed can either read or watch television or monitor for whatever is out there now in various forms of fares, documentary, news movies series... all of it informative bringing world to you.. a complex expensive complicated process in which not always wealth got made, the golden times ones, yet the voice to correct world's systems, its crooks ways, mocking it over and over again never went away.
I am intrigued that Scorsese loves this film, since he has never made a ballet film in his life, as far as I know. It came as such as surprise, when I learned this.
Would watch this over and over again as a kid with my mom growing up. The drama of it all and her dancing had me entranced
Everyone that loves movies needs to thank Matin Scorsese for all that he's done for the industry.
Awesome
I saw this film for this first time tonight at one of The Light cinemas in the UK - it looked absolutely incredible
I really hope someone does this with Dersu Uzala. One of Kurosawa’s most beautiful films, not only visually but definitely visually. The available versions have lots of colour breathing etc tho
I think anyone who has any creative ambitions or obsesses over their creative efforts in any medium will ultimately resonate with this film. I truly hate at times how I simply cannot be in the moment or prioritise other life commitments due to my obessions with my creative/artisitc output.
Very Moving. Ordinarily I am critical of the “can do” American exceptionalism that has resulted in Hollywood interference in other national film cultures. However the digital restoration of this and other Powell and Pressburger films is to be congratulated. The digital restoration and remastering of any film is a labour of love. The restoration of the The Red Shoes was less to do with anticipating high financial returns than honouring another nation’s great film-makers.
this is such a great scene, even maya hawke couldnt fuck it up
The colors came out so vidly in the restoration.
Awesome
They watched "Faces of Death" Before they will went to killed the members of Dalton's house.
"I forgot my knife in the car. Can I got and get it?" *takes the keys and drives away. Hilarious!
Man Sadie acting like bitch
I just noticing and remembered Maya Hawke!
Honestly, I was lost on the Far Cry 5 with folks being peggies..it one sidely makes sense. There always like "let's kill some peggies" but it's also about avenging against a colt in Louisiana. Nowmit kind of comes together.
She nailed the "myaaan"
Austin Butler played Elvis Presley after this. Such talented actor
lol how did they get the real susan atkins revived, become 50 years younger, out of prison and play in that scene
"Every show that wasn't I love Lucy was about murder!" I believe The Addams Family and The Munsters would like to have a word with you.
& Leave it to Beaver
Mikey Madison was Brilliant in Scream 5 that was awesome that the Directors recreate her Death scene from this movie for Scream 5
Guessing her doing this movie was what got her cast in Scream
@@joewhitehead3 💯
all i can picture is robin being thrown into this and realizing it went too far and panicking lmfao
1:22 cutest thing ever
I cant believe we got Robin Buckley and Elvis Presley in one scene
& Amber Freeman
Austin Butler did amazing in this. He is unrecognizable
That’s what I thought
Antifa dork's grandparents right here folks.
She did NOT spell it correctly. You suck at reading.
I love Maya Hawke so much. Even for the brief role she did in this. She got a smidge of a taste of what it’s like to work with the man who directed her mother in other projects.
I’m sure the mother was hesitant about it at first
Were in fucking hollywood maaaaann
Everyone except Margot to be scene stealer in this movie but since her screen presence is very limited and even then she only had to smile and dance, any other female supporting actress literally stole the show, starts with Margareth Qualley, Dakota Fanning and specially Mikey Madison at the end here.
"Welcome to act 3" 😍
I’m only here for Amber Freeman
I love this.
We are in fuckin Hollywood miiieeeeehhhn
Lol😂🤣👌
Honestly, the reason I hated these guys wasn't the murder. It's they're annoying hippy douchebags "diiiiiiig this" and "During our trip sessions I've been expanding on this one idea in my head" ugh
One of these people is ghostface, its tex isnt it, or maya Hawke, or flamethrower girl, nah, they wouldnt get that repetitive, would they
It’s obviously Mikey
Aka flame thrower girl
MIKEY MADDISON AS SADIE IS AMAZINGGGGG
I can’t believe the guy who plays Tex (Austin Butler) is going to play Elvis Presley Talking about range
You’d hardly recognize him
And he NAILED IT
Damn right
The girl who takes the car and drives away is Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke's daughter. She looks and even sounds very much like Uma!
I’ll bet Tarantino had to personally ask Uma if Maya could be in the movie
I like how she just bailed on them!😂🤣
@@charleyb_728 who wouldn't, they literally got their balls bitten off.
You know the only pig people are those fucking murder Manson's because their disgusting faces proofs their pigs freaks right Hollywood fans the Manson's are a bunch of murdering pigs all the way right guys well at least their a pig killer in this universe and that's old retire soldier Cliff Booth he can kill them with powerful kick like a wolf kills a pig with one big bit of his Sharpe tough teeth all the way right guys
Calm down
@@heathernikki5734 of sorry no no just only saying because the Manson family are the villains madam just giving there nickname for there villain organisation Heather there pig freaks murders of actors which is not good right Heather in case that’s all right to say please Miss Nikki madam but still please forgive didn’t at all loose my temper at all just to let you too!
Mikey Maddison playing psychopath really well. ps loved her in scream. 😉
Hopefully she won’t end up as a typecast
"I'll be right back" and "let's split up" in the same scene, clearly they don't know the rules of horror
Which is all the more funny now because of "Scream".
This technically wasn’t a horror
I like how Maya Hawke’s character just nails on the other 3!😂🤣
*bails*
Diiiïïïg thiïs
"Get it together, Sadie!" she's so comical yet adorable. i love Sadie.
01:28 "I'm going to tell you my recipe to make fried hippies"
Yeah the Red Shoes is obvious…….
