Poulan Chainsaw Fuel Line Routing
Просмотров 3,9 тыс.4 года назад
Here is the correct way to hook up the fuel lines for this Poulan P3314 chainsaw. This is also the same for many other chainsaws.
Perfect...exactly what I needed 4 years later thanks much
Glad it helped!
What’s that ticking / rattling sound?? Mine does that and I feel like it’s progressively gotten worse
Most likely the cam chain tensioner. Its a common sound on these engines. People have named it the “Kawi Tick”. Search it up for more info.
@@SteveMaksudyan-rp6jgI love you. I’ve been panicking if it’s my chain too loose or what not. Gonna figure it out tomorrow! If u know any good videos lmk!
🎉 needed this
Bro I need help 😭 I have no idea where the fuel lines go on the sun throttle fuel rail 😭 plz help
Its not too bad. Just do a google image search of 2006 zx6r subthrottle and look through a bunch of pictures to figure it out. Its probably easier than looking it up in the service manual. But most of those lines connect to eachother.
Mmmmmm Sweet sweet sounds
I changed my spark plugs and I don’t remember which connector goes to what spark plug
Which ones? Primary or secondary injectors?
How did you start it without the fuel pump or tank? I’m in a predicament where the tank is rusted and fuel pump I assume is bad. I just want to see if I can start it for 3-4 seconds.
I had it sitting on a chair next to the bike. I just used a regular fuel hose I had laying around to connect the fuel tank to the bike. I ziptied the hose on both ends so it wouldnt pop off from the fuel pressure.
@@SteveMaksudyan-rp6jgOh okay gotcha thank you.
He is making more space for food (seeds) . Hope this helps 😅😊
You are right. Thanks! 🙂
Man this makes me so sad hearing this budgie because mine did the same thing all day Sunday and my vet was closed and unfortunately my buddie Joey passed away later that night in my hands
So sorry about your budgie. They are small and fragile birds. Sometimes it just happens so fast that you can’t do anything about it. I am in Los Angeles and later on found out there are a few 24 hour pet hospitals around me that will actually see birds too. I wish I had known about it beforehand 😕.
I keep reading that you can't unplug the subthrottle sensor but there's a debate on the 05 vs 06 apparently if the subthrottle sensor is bad in the 06 you just buy a new sensor where in the the 05 you have to get new throttle bodies, can you confirm?
05 and 06 are the same exact bike and use the same parts. Usually whenever someone has subthrottle issues, they will just swap the whole assembly for a used one off ebay. Maybe some people have replaced the sensor, but thats rare since the whole subthrottle assembly can be had for about 30 bucks. But u should be able to swap the sensor on both 05 and 06 if u really wanted to. Like I said, theyre the same exact bike. This is Scorpi0 btw.
ajisup oh yooooooooo small world!! lol this video I neeedeed
Why the exception of the damn 05 ecu lol
Need help real quick, i need to test spark plug caps but im still a newbie and here i see youve got them numbered. Whats the sequence from left to right, I thought it was 1,2,3,4, please i need a little guidance
From left to right, the cylinders are # 1-2-3-4. If you are asking for the firing order its 1-2-4-3
There arnt spark plug caps they are ignition coils . And there's isn't a order to them exactly for they could go into any cylinder. It's not like they are specialized to only fit in one cylinder but you definitely need them plugged in the correct order
was it a bad chain or just out of adjustment?
Neither. Even with a new chain and sprockets it will do it. I guess thats just what happens wih the chain when there isnt much load on it.
Updating this just in case someone else’s bird is making the same noise. Maybe it might help them out. The vet said bronchitis or any other infection will take a few days to get my bird to the extremely sick condition he was in. But this all happened within a few hours. It turned out that my bird had something stuck in his trachea. (Could have been a seed or anything else). But it was making that noise because it was having difficulty breathing. Within a few hours he had become very uncomfortable. The noise had become much louder and he was jumping around, rubbing his head everywhere, and opening his wings. By morning, he was barely staying alive, gasping for air. He was super weak and the sound had become faint. I rushed him to the vet and they took him in. Basically, the vet said there was 2 options: One procedure is called an “Air sac cannula” where they make a small hole by the leg and insert a tube into the air sac so he can breathe again. Then remove the blockage from the trachea and then remove the tube. The 2nd option was to quickly go down into his trachea and push the blockage down into his air sac. (This will result in pneumonia later but it can be treated with antibiotics). Since my bird was so weak at this point, the vet thought the 1st option was the better choice. She performed the procedure and said he started breathing normally again when she inserted the tube. But unfortunately, about 2 minutes later she tried to go into his trachea to remove the blockage and his heart stopped beating. I guess it was just too much for my little budgie. 😢 This progressed very fast. It all started around 6pm. About 16 hours later my budgie was dead. So if anyone comes across this same noise with their bird, please get them to the vet or hospital ASAP. You don’t have much time. I hope this helps.
Such a heartbreaking story im sorry for your loss😔 also it was helpful
😭
im so sorry
My budgie was making this noise last night. His wings look slightly limp today and he's sleeping too much. I CAN'T GET A SINGLE VET TO SEE HIM TIL TWO WEEKS FROM NOW!!!😢 There's a severe shortage of vet appointments here in upstate NY and even the emergency vet clinic shuttered it's doors "bc they can't handle the current volume." (Yes you read that right--they went of business bc they said they had too many patients but not enough staff!) I'm absolutely beside myself that I can't get my bird's health needs met and he could worsen and die!
@@silverbushb448 praying for you sorry thats terrible keep the poor thing warm and in a quiet environment please itll be okay
I suggest taking your budgie to a vet. Better safe than sorry.
Cold? Bronchitis?
Possibly. Im taking him to the vet as soon as they open.
Mine did this too today! When she was chewing on some stick, have you found out what it means??
I posted this video on a budgie forum and they said she is just vomiting. The muscles used for vomiting reflex are the same ones used for making noise. My bird still does it. But it usually happens after she has ate a lot of food and then flies a few laps around the room. She will make these noises for a few seconds right after she lands. I have 5 budgies now and shes the only one that does this.
My bird has been doing this and she’s done it in the middle of the night one time too...she seems fine and does eat a lot. I hope nothings wrong tho...makes me really paranoid 😞
Please update me!

How is YOUR bird doing now?@@ajisup
My throttle body shuts itself when I twist the throttle more than like 75%, any idea what exactly may cause it and best resolution? (2005 zx6r)
Im assuming youre talking about your subthrottle assembly. Is the bike throwing a FI code 62? The subthrottle valves are controlled by the ECU. And in almost all the cases Ive seen, its usually a bad Subthrottle Assy actuator or position sensor. Easiest way to fix it is replacing it with a used subthrottle assembly off ebay. Some people also just remove the subthrottle assembly completely, but this will most likely turn on your FI light.
Same here man it just dies when the throttle is moved barley and ideas of what it is? I have a 2006 Zx6R the 636
My 2nd blades seem to close and bit before they start to open with throttle and sit 75 percent open at idle. What do you think is causing that? No codes
@@TheShadeManGuitarsería normal, a menos que cuando aceleres, no se abran
@@Its_Drewdid you ever figure out your issues I have the same problem with mine
THIS is the video I've been looking for. Perfect. Thanks for great explanation of the line routing.
Thank You !! this has a great camera angle ! Having never done this before I needed more precise visuals and you certainly did !
Man I like how to the point your video is but can barely hear you.. Thanks for getting to the point though!
Excellent, thank you for taking the time to show the routing clearly. !!
No problem! I wanted to keep it as simple and precise as possible. I’m glad to see it’s helping people out. :)
Thank You for this video. None of the other videos showed the fuel line routing as well as you did. Good Job !
U ever find out what the problem is
Nothing. Thats normal.
Aren’t they supposed to open and close lmfao
@@ajisup I'm having an issue where my 2006 zx6r seems like it cuts out at around 8k rpms. I can give it throttle but it starts jerking and won't go above 8k. It's been a little while since I checked the codes but I wanna say it's either code 32 or 62. Should I just order a whole new throttle body. It's driving me crazy now. I've tried quite a few things no luck any help is appreciated.
Nick Radakovic once the engine is started they will go to closed position.
Chris Buchanan Code 32 and 62 are both related to the subthrottle assembly. If your subthrottles are not going full open when u rev the engine, then it could be choking your engine and not letting it rev any higher. But if your subthrottles are still opening when u rev the engine, then I would suspect something wrong with the fuel delivery. Its usually a dirty fuel filter, bad fuel pump, or your secondary fuel injectors are not kicking in. Theyre supposed to start spraying at around 8K RPMs.
Thank you very much for posting this video. I really wanted to know what the valves do during engine operation and from research as well as my current knowledge I already assumed they do this exact thing already. Great to see it in action though! At least I know I can gain that low - mid rpm throttle response and gain the mid power a bit (seen proven dyno sheets of increase power mid-high and no low end loss and extreme increase in throttle response) I have heard a few reports of worse fuel economy because the ecu uses them to alter air velocity into the cylinders. This can affect part throttle ride ability but who cares its made to go fast. Taking the restrictions off myself.
The valves ? You mean the air intake right?
i have subthrottle code 62 on a 06 zx14 i just bought and bike sat for 2yrs...maybe i can clean them?
I dont think cleaning will fix it. Usually its the mechanism that gives a problem. Easiest option is to replace the throttle body with a used one for cheap off ebay.
Steve M some idiot took secondary plates out, what should ido
Buy the entire secondary assembly off ebay and install it. Plug it in and it will work. Theyre pretty cheap.
mine has same operation is it all ok
Yes, that is normal operation.
Thanks for posting.
