Ya Logan and sundowner are top of the food chain in my options but about double the cost of what I have into this setup, we had a cargo mate eliminator 44’ race trailer with living qs but they are heavy and not enough cargo space for 2 trucks

Doesn’t leak a drop, I used about 6 more on customer rigs also

2x3” 3/16 wall is what I like to run… dimensions can be all over the board depending on tire size engine combo ect… lots of mocking things up, my axle is stretched about 4-5” forward from stock if you doing an ls swap you want a minimum of 25” inbetween frame rails for the headers to fit, I stepped the frame up about 4”, I like to just leave the frame rails extra long and then cut them to length after the engine and radiator/fans etc… are installed

There certainly is and you are 100% wrong, this is an aam 10.5” axle and they are made from cast iron or if you want to be more specific they are actually nodular iron…. I wish it was cast steel! They would be a lot easier to weld

It’s all good, I’ve just never seen anything decent from husky, I sold my snap on krl and bought this icon. They are very close in quality, also the icon is much better quality than general, take a micrometer into hf next time and check the material thickness along with alot of other differences

@@rosinsautofab1956 That may be the difference between us brother, if I need a micrometer to notice, it’s not worth thousands of my dollars. I don’t know how long it’s been since you looked at Husky, but they are far superior to USG now. Soft close drawers, the full 24” depth, good weight bearing capacity, no paint issues, etc. People also typically judge Husky by what a co worker bought on Black Friday 😂 they have 3 levels to their product. I like the Series 3 USG and the Icon are very nice, it’s a money thing for me. I’m one of those people that can’t see pouring that kind of money in a box.

Ya, defiantly more than 1200$ lol they are Reid super king pin knuckles and inner c’s, Dana 60 style king pins and uses superduty wheel hubs and I drilled to 8x6.5, it will have 47 spline rcv axle shafts and wilwood light weight brakes. it’s a rear steer axle for our race buggy

Not sure if you need the top or not if using a top Chest, you should be able to measure the height and see if the stainless top is needed for the correct height
