Did you mention the little metal clips that you remove to get the line out.? So i can put those on before I put the new line in and it will snap in ?

if you dont have a good pedal after bleading you might need to do abs blead with a scan tool . or take it out and perform abs stops and reblead .

The advertising says from the motor to tank when there's3 lines coming out of the pump over a foot long. And the color coding is only on some of the lines in the brake line set. And the ones without color coding also don't have the part description/ location label., You have to be very careful to match the product when you try to follow the link from these videos to the website.

At 2:37 he's removing the cooler line from the transmission using a 14mm wrench. That 14mm flare nut bolts into a 17mm nut that is removable from the transmission. Does anyone know the technical name for that 17mm nut? My old cooler lines are rusted solid to that 17mm nut, so i cut the lines and removed the nut assembly. I have them soaking in Marvel Mystery Oil right now, hopefully I can separate them tomorrow without damaging the housing or the threads.

So... Just finished installation on my 1997 F250 7.3L. Not as "easy" as I'd hoped as the top bolt on the forward bracket is a bitch to line up without a bit of help. However, a great experience overall as the normal parts stores offered little to nothing that matched the factory OEM lines. Video was tremendously helpful, and I'd recommend Lines To Go to anyone looking for a solution to a hard to fix problem.

Video shows positive battery terminal being disconnected first. With negative ground vehicles this is a risky practice. If positive terminal touches anything grounded; circuit is shorted. Best case scenario... fusible link will be fried. Many amps involved here. Always disconnect negative terminal first, guys. Respect... -Terry

I would start by washing the truck ! Grind that dirt into all the threads.

Unable to get the new lines to not leak at the fittings connected into the transmission, even purchased new fittings and still have a leak at the transmission fittings where the lines pop in?

This is where these trucks get weird mine is also a 98 but it has just two plain old straps like any of the older trucks of this body style, doesn’t have the big weird bracket thing for the front strap

Been trying to source prebent lines for my '06 for a while... factory still sells the stock steel ones (the trans. to the radiator is getting scarce) but all together, the price is only $20 dollars less than these stainless lines. With the size of the long line, who knows what freight would be for that stupid big box, not to mention how bent to sh*t it will be upon arrival! Seems like an obvious choice getting these.

i have to say, i appreciate you creating this video, it was done in a straightforward and objective way, exactly as needed to meet stock repair. however... when i have to remove driveshafts to fix a gas line, it is high time for you engineers to just go fug ursef... im gonna use some copper line and clamp it onto the nubs that will be left once i cut out the quick connect BS... oh, ive gotta move the ABS box out of the way to put in gas lines?!? ive gotta remove bolts here and there and everywhere?!?... i doubt it, FAKE NEWS everybody... fake news... im removing the ends of two lines, and adding two lines with 4 hose clamps, aaaaand, DONE! nice try engineers, you tried
