Makes me miss my mom even more right now I lost my mom Feb 5 th 2022 I was taking care of her she was 71 about 6 years before that I took her to the doctors we found out she had cancer lung cancer stage 4 it upset me took her to get her biopsys & things done & came back of course positive then the doctor discussed treatment options my mom didn't really want treatment cause she had seen what her sister went thru my Aunt Mary she also had lung cancer one.lung taken out & treatment she lost her hair got really sick so my mom said no I don't want treatment so we looked at the doctor & I said if she don't get treatment how long would she have he said 6 months My mom & me.loked at each other & pretty much cried I said I'm not ready for you to go that soon so I begged her to get.treatment at least try it I said if it makes u sick & u don't like it we will stop I begged finally she said ok we will try we did instead of her only living 6 months without treatment she lived another 6 years & i made sure it was the best we went out to eat alot with my daughters her granddaughters we hi the casino all the time since we only lived 20 minutes from one her favorite thing to do & did lots she did lots with her best friend to it was awesome she never lost her hair or got sick from treatment she had a lot of chemo & radiation didnt bother her at all Then in December 2021 she started to get worse I had to start taking care of her helping her get showers & things like that & keeping her fed & clean & the end of Jan is when she really want down hill couldn't eat no more drink it was something terrible to go thru first time I have.ever taken care of anyone till her last breath She ment.the world to me she besides my daughters is the only one I had left my Dad he died at the age of 56 of cancer years ago then my mom's didn't my aunt she died in the year 2000 leaving behind 2 young daughters she was only 41 then my mom in feb of 2022 of cancer & now I just found out my other aunt my moms. Other sister in Pa has cancer on one of her kidneys so pretty much my whole family was wiped out by cancer crazy so injoy your mother while u still have her I have no one & it's pretty lonely I see & talk to my daughters but there grown on there own married git jobs so it does get lonely
