hskk အတွက်ကတော့ အလေ့အကျင့်လိုပါတယ်။ ပုံမှန်များများပြောပေး။ topic တစ်ခုကို နှစ်မိနစ်အတွင်း စဥ်းစားပြီး ပြောနိုင်အောင် လေ့ကျင့်တာတို့ လုပ်လို့ရပါတယ်။
Laoshi ရှင့်အသက်18/19 ရောက်ပြီးမှတရုတ်စာစသင်မယ်ဆိုရင် သင်တန်းမဟုတ်ဘဲဘုံကျောင်းမှာလက်ခံ လားရှင့်

Hi Teacher, I wanted to ask a question. After watching a video about a robot, I realized it reflects my life right now. People say I'm too young to understand the world. I've been learning Chinese for almost 2 years, but I dislike it, even though I appreciate the culture. My older sister loves Chinese and teaches it, but I'm more interested in English. I feel weak thinking about learning something I don’t want to focus on. My parents said I was talented in Chinese, but it just doesn’t feel right for me. What’s your opinion? If I learn something I'm not interested in, will it really help me? Thank you!

I’ve been through something similar myself. My parents wanted me to take over their business at one point. At first, I thought I might be interested in doing that too. But in the end, I chose to become a teacher instead. I even gave up studying business administration after two years to follow this path. At first, my parents were really against it. I wasn’t exactly the best student growing up, so they couldn’t believe I wanted to become a teacher. But with time and my hard work, I was able to prove them wrong. Your parents are probably looking out for you, but I totally get how their version of "what’s best" might feel a bit overwhelming. The best thing to do is to have a calm and open conversation with them. If that works, great! If not, then show them through your actions that what you’re passionate about is valuable and achievable too. And if you’re preparing for exams like the O levels and need to choose a foreign language, I’d say Chinese is a pretty solid choice! ：）
