Where do you get the boxes???
Hi Christie! 😊I get them from all sorts of places-dollar shops, my local craft store, online from Temu, and even some I picked up when I traveled to South America. But honestly, you don’t need the exact same box to create something beautiful! These techniques work on all kinds of boxes-wooden, MDF, even sturdy cardboard ones. If you have an old box at home that could use a little love, this could be the perfect upcycling project! Let me know if you need any tips-I’d love to help! 💕✨

Can l add acrylic paint to gesso to keep from painting twice. All my projects are colors other than white for a base.
Hi Nana, yes, you can definitely add acrylic paint to gesso to create a tinted base coat. Keep in mind that the gesso will slightly lighten the color, so you might want to mix a bit more paint than you think you need. I hope this helps! Let me know how it turns out.
