Ok, so I'm gonna a little pedantic here but the title should read "playthrough" rather than "walkthrough" as a walkthrough helps the viewer improve their skill and/or progress in a video game. What you're doing here is just playing through one. Other than that, I just have to say it's quite an enjoyable video and has helped me decide on whether or not I'll be giving this a play through.

I think you should check out (if you haven’t already) The Vanishing of Ethan Carter. It’s a weird mystery game made by The Astronauts, same studio behind Witchfire. It’d be awesome if you did a gameplay too.

I am so glad I found your channel! I’ve been enjoying your play throughs and I’ve been learning a lot too. Witchfire is a great game… packed with secrets and insane challenges. I don’t know if this has been already asked but I wanted to know what settings did you change to improve your frames/overall gameplay? I have a decent PC but the game stutters sometimes. I’d appreciate any advise you can give! Keep it up, my dude!

Easy to find fault and at the same time forget how bad it went for myself the first time I ran it. I had more ranged weapons and that made a whole lot of difference since I mostly cleared the enemies then stumbled into the traps. Since they're static for each run and only the fire traps is a significant problem it's not so bad the second time you run it. Mostly just a great source of witchfire. Ice traps shows up as smal white dots on the mini-map.

There is another way to load that shotgun, if you remember

Freeze is not considered as stun unfortunately so striga does not get a damage bonus from shooting frozen enemies. If you want guarantee stuns, it is the shockwave light spell, the bell heavy spell or the stun gun demonic weapon. You could also shoot the bubbles that appear around the enemy after you do a dodge to stun enemies, but the most consistent ways will be the two spells. I will say though, from my own experience, that sometimes the striga on its own can stun major/boss enemies by hitting constant crit shots, enabling itself to recieve its own bonus damage when shooting them again. Its by far one of the strongest weapons at tier 3 (it can both burn and proc lightning bolts) and also helps with conserving ammo (because it hits so strong).

I use Shadowmist ring because it's basically a get-out-of-jail-free card (that also effectively gives you an additional melee attack and increases your dash distance). You're not limited to retreat when swarmed or overwhelmed, you can dash into enemies to escape and still be inflicting damage. It's all about movement, the freeze is only a "cherry on top" benefit. Actually didn't know severed ear reduced reload time (don't have it leveled up), but reloading isn't really an issue once you unlock all the Striga's mysteria, which make it way more ammo efficient. The Striga's mysteria effects are also why I don't use something like crown of fire, because eventually the Striga gets both fire damage and lightning damage (becomes a 1 shot kill for I think all minor enemies if you get the burn and lightning damage from the mysteria). Compared to the lightning bolt, you don't actually need to be within close proximity of enemies to use Storm Ball, it keeps traveling and can effect multiple groups of enemies. Also with the 3rd mysterium it explodes when it hits an obstacle, so you get an additional AOE that synergizes well with Burning Stake. You can clear an entire group of enemies with Burning Stake + Storm Ball + a single headshot from the Striga once they're all fully leveled.

The frost and decay knights was the main reason I started to learn how to use the soul target, that and get piercing shot as a Prophecy. I spend a White feather on that one just to make sure I don't miss it. Soul target is pretty great but then you have to manage your stamina and atleast for me something like Midas or Richocet is a bonus. Spray and pray. Vault 3, find a spot of to the side from the lamps and check on the bosses from time to time to see if their shield has dropped yet. For me just to the right on the other side of the pillar to the bosses works great. Cheers

I finally caught up, man I think I've only watched your vids this week. Good stuff, good laughs, and I like your commentary on this game. I'm excited to see how this game updates. I like the updates, I like their direction and map building. This game is sick, and honestly one of the better shooters I've seen in a long time.

Hunger, Striga (or Basilisk), Storm Ball, Burning Stake, Eye of the Madwoman, Henbane, Shadowmist Ring. Hit your headshots and combo Storm Ball with Burning Stake and it's insane, probably the strongest loadout I can think of for raw dps. To extend the time stay outside of the dream instead of entering, you'll see the time start to pick up. Pretty sure you don't have to do anything. Just avoid damage while the time ticks up and enter when you think you got enough. Although, to be honest? I just checked a guide for all known Prophecies in the dream world.. so, Yeah :) Build? Do something with Hunger and Stigma Diabolicum and an Earth Prophecy. The one that spreads decay in an explosion! Me? I'm doing a standard build with either Ricochet or Striga (Stake gun) as long range. Ricochet do great against groups of enemies or decent on semi range. The only time I find it struggle is in the tower when you're doing the third "stand in circle" and everything spawns at range. As for close range I'd pick either or in descending order Echo, Rotweaver and Hangfire. Hangfire do quite well for range if you struggle with Ricochet but I prefer Echo. Spells, Stormball and Burning Stake. As vanilla as it gets. Other spots -Kirfane if Ricochet or Rotweaver else Eye of the Madwoman but any goes. Henbane cause reasons... And last but not least Crown of Fire so you can trigger burn regardless of weapon currently equipped. The ring is the only required in my opinion. If I stopped running face first into all those grenades I could switch out the Fetish but lets be real? Demonic? Crossbow, always.

The first time I rolled up on him he was turned away being a weirdo. Then he opened up a can of whoop ass on me and ran off. That island is MUCH MUCH better now even at gnosis 0. I didn't know they patched it, I thought I reached a certain level which added different stuff to the maps.

I think you need to tag multiple enemies in ADS before shooting with richocet. That's how you make your bullets richocet

Damn GG man, that boss battle in the tower was intense. Being a multi stage boss, I bet that felt real good landing that final shot on him. The, "Put that in your pipe and smoke it", was perfect at the end😂 😂 😂😂

Rotweaver and the fire ring is as you say a great combo. Then toss in a fire prophecie since most of them, if not all, triggers of burning. The burning critical is ofcourse great but the rest are good too. I kinda like not seeing the UI for Calamities but health, spell recharge and amount of witchfire really makes an impact on gameplay. Amount of witchfire is allthough questionable but atleast stops you from forgetting to level up! You seems to use your spells plenty either way but for me it's a lot of synergy. Decay doesn't stack, only the most potent is in effect. Atleast if you trust reddit -so if you run rotweaver I'd settle with only that. Keep it up!

Quick tip for if you do plan to run the tower again for the prophecies: any of the ammo boxes that you leave untouched on the map will also appear during the rift portal event (the part when you get teleported back to the beachside). You can then open the ammo chests while in the other realm and boom! Youre fully loaded for the boss fight!

I got the psychopump in my playthrough and I gotta say, I do not like the shotguns (it might just not match my playstyle)

I feel like out of the whole arsenal, the Psychopomp and Rotweaver are two weapons that are massively handicapped by hiding enemy health bars:). Both require stopping the damage on enemy in time for melee finisher or decay finisher to trigger their mysteriums. That would be very hard to do without seeing how much HP and enemy has.

Sure hope they add HDR support.🤔
