Some of the Bekonscot chaps went to see the 10.25" gauge miniature railway at Knebworth. It was an enthusiasts open evening in June 2009. This is the 0-6-0 steam loco hauling up the grade from the loco sheds to the station, with "Jungle Express" formerly of Paignton Zoo behind it for assistance. We had some buildings at Bekonscot Model Village in Bucks that needed to be moved around the site, which were being stored by one of the staff. So we loaded the models of Dudley High Street (that were rescued from Himley Hall) so they could be taken off site for more work to be done on them and used privately.
