Very enjoyable to watch. Was not too sure to do this on my 2017 Sienna, but watching you gives me great confidence.
Yo, the wire that splits off the alternator and gets attached to the clip at the backside of the alternator. Snapped. What is this? How could I fix it? And is this why my car can’t start.
Game day!!
I think the first sensor he had was correct but i could be wrong. 3 things tho....permanent codes are available 2010 and newer. These are codes that cannot be erased with a scanner. They erase by themselves after you drive the vehicle and complete enough drive cycles. Secondly, dont forget to hit that o2 with that anti sieze lub for future replacement. And third, after doing repairs you wanna drive the vehicle until you go thru a few drive cycles and complete the monitorsn that way u can verify the code doesnt come back on
😂😂
There are 2 02 sensors, bank one and 2.
Keep going dome piece crew believe in you.
got a 2000 and i fucking hate this piece of shit
2024 Trump November 5. It's a good day. 💪🇺🇸🐫💯💪👍🪖🪖👍💪🪖💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🪖🇺🇸
🔥
I like the logic.
And?
He said "3- 4ths inch" 🤣 I know what you meant but I thought it was pronounced 3-quarter inch 🤔🤣
It is, I've just always called it that 😆
3/4 thssssss 😂
Damn is Right 😅
Thank you!!
5:17 I have never responded to a video in my life, your positive attitude and funny character speaks volumes. I only planned on doing half of the work tonight you keeped me going. Great video angles & very little fluff!!!!
Good video bro but you didn't notice that the compressors were different. They bolt up the same but the one you took off has a mechanical control valve and the one you put on has a switch control valve. That one requires another connector to the back bottom of the compressor. You see it good at 16:08.
Thanks bro
Less trucks man survive anything
Clean asl this the car I got from my great grandma 🕊️🕊️ still running lol
Got my own at 68k, dumped huge bill into it for entire AC system and cars more comfy than any new i've been in lol
Hi Folks, So, which one exactly is the P2185 "Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor 2 Circuit High" for 2007 Honda Accord i-VTEC 2.4 DOHC Engine? Appreciate your help pointing me to the exact location. Thank you in advance!
Did u figure it out?
Hey Joel I have a 2017 Jeep Patriot Sport 2.0. I have that same code that you hit about catalytic problem. Was gonna change the sensors but read that you said check engine light will still come on. You said to just change catalytic. Is that what you did eventually? How much was it if you did. Thanks
Y’all saving me rn
I also try to minimize removing parts and learn the hard way. Good thing I watched your video, I'll definitely get that fan out of the way first.
Negative cable needs to come off first on last.
2 tips to help. If you have a Gates tensioner you use a 17mm wrench to loosen belt tension. When putting the compressor lines back on I would use my 3/8 or 1/2" magnetic extension to start the bolts at least.
Thank you for making this video. I'm doing my 2012 yaris brake pads this weekend.
Glad I can help. I remember that day. I was like yo, this shit so easy, I had to make a video man real shit! 😆
Thank you for the video. But you didn't show us how to get to the O2 sensor?
It should be right on top, I believe there’s nothing to remove or in the way, you just pop open the hood and look behind the engine area and it’s right there !:)
I am still waiting to hear from you.
Alternator gave up on us 3 hours away from home... Fortunate the battery got us to a safe place before it died! Thanks for posting up this video man!
Amazing. But I am still waiting on your call.
I am still waiting for your call 📞. Do the right thing bro.
Thank you
Big help 🖤🖤🖤
Good vid man so I noticed the replacement compressor had the valve thing on it so will that work in replacement of one that doesn't have the valve
Love the vid🤣🤣
Muy buen video e impensado el detalle !!
Lol fam I work for LKQ also!
That's dope bro! I worked at the one in New Braunfels Texas. That was my first Automotive job. How do you like it?
@@joelalexvega I work for one in Houston.. been there since 2011 so yeah I like it well lol. I needed to change the compressor in my lady Altima. Came across your video and was like babe, dude has a LKQ uniform on! And thanks for the help
@@12TribeTone 🤣🤣🤣 ITS LKQ BABY ALL DAY EVERY DAY...EVEN ON SUNDAYS MAN! 🤣🤣🤣
what is the torque specs when tightening the caliper bolt on your yaris?
P r o m o s m 🤷
Hell yeah man your the best! gotta look for HFC gauges for diagnosing the lines before I drain it of the Freon.
Shit I got ya bro! Hope this video helps save money as far as labor goes. 😆 be good be eazy n stay outta trouble bro 💯😉✌️
I’m struggling to get my sensor off 😭
What tools are you using?
I got it off , well my husband did lol
@@vividbinauralbeats2254 That's great! Hope this video helped you somewhat with getting the job done 😉 hope you have a good day!
I couldn’t get my old sensor off with a Oxygen Sensor socket, so I cut the wires to the sensor as close as I could. I drove the Jeep to get the exhaust hot. Sprayed the sensor area for a few days before with PB Blaster penetrating fluid. I used a conventional 22 mm DEEPWELL SOCKET with an extension and a breaker bar (1/2” drive). I pulled with moderate force and within 15 seconds it broke free and not too difficult to get out afterwards (probably because of the penetrating fluid amounts).
Awesome man great video
Hey bro I am doing the job now- Thanks for the video. It’s hot here today But it’s dry heat haha You were sweating your ass off.
Bro that day, the heat was unnecessary man 🤣🤣 hopefully this video helps you out man. Good luck n kick ass! 💯😉✌️
Lol u goofy asf real ish though
Thanks you did a great job showing it and explaining it and since I don’t have the money to get it done professionally I’m doing it myself and I am 64
you sure that’s just coffee
🤣🤣 with about 3 shots of STOK espresso 😆 hope you have a good day man! Go get what's yours 😉💯✌️
Here’s my latest understanding (going to call a mechanic and confirm as well) The upstream sensor is a simple o2 sensor (located before the cat, used to calculate the air fuel mixture. Often called the air fuel sensor.) The downstream is a special heated o2 sensor. (Located after the cat, used to read the emissions output). If I am not mistaken, Joel in this video might’ve installed a downstream sensor in his upstream location. The first part (15510 part number) should’ve been correct for upstream because it’s a simple o2 sensor when you look up the part. The smoke may have been wd40 burning off. The second part he got was the heated o2 sensor (part number 23161) if you look it up… which should be for downstream location. The parts store employees often times don’t know much, just selling parts based on their computer systems. Update: yep I used the first part this video had that he thought was wrong. Part number 15510 as the upstream o2 sensor replacement. Is working well 30 miles into test drive. The 23161 part he used is for the downstream heated o2 sensor replacement. So Joel in video mistakenly replaced his upstream sensor with a downstream sensor.
Luckily, 3 parts store employees convinced me that both sensors were identical (they are not) and so I ended up buying the correct upstream o2 sensor by accident because I was going to buy what this video said to buy at the end until I did more research. So the parts store employee’s incompetence actually helped out lol.
Life saver bro was working on my 05 thought it was the relay had a 91 Honda do me like that I just put a screw in it ✌🏾
