I'm glad I stumbled across this in my feed. Been following Saud's music since I was in high-school and also struggled with a lot of the same conflicts regarding the pursuit of art, family/community expectations, faith, financial struggle, etc. He's got good wisdom and it's stuff that I've been needing to hear.

Was looking stuff up because the new Crimson Armada song dropped, and I just remember him being very polarizing for during the TCA/THG transition. Never seemed that bad ego-wise to begin with and people were being unreasonably hard on him looking back, especially compared to how a lot of artists act today. What a lovely guy, being better for himself and the people around him he cares about. A common problem with adults around our age either finding or returning to their traditional religion or spirituality is they either do it for show or do it to feel like they're better than everyone else. Or they joined that one cult in Columbus. He just seems so genuine, happy, and trying to be a positive force in the world any way he can, and that's all most of us really want once we get our shit together.

Love the shots, only issue with giving a band one shoot that covers 4 months, is that now you've just lost 4 months of income.. that band won't need you for that long... so do you price a large amount to cover your expenses for 4 months? Just curious.. like I said nice work, love The shots.

As a musician and photographer, I've been trying to convey this to bands for years... They laugh when I say bring changes of clothing, but I want them to be able to spread their photos out to have constant content
