Como esta chiquito 😍😂
These were stolen as soon as you parked them in the UK..my brother in law had one for six days.
This isn’t 175 bhp unless it’s tuned I had a Zzr 1100 and that was 150 bhp Maybe the gpz 1100 was a stronger engine
Why can't new bikes look like this?
Hen and chicken , blacks , French imports if you know you know 😂

I have one
so on my 1991 celica gt my coolant gauge isn't moving and i've replaced all the sensors would it be a capacitor
Not sure the coolant gauge has a cap -- since you've already replaced sensors, check for bad grounds which are very common on older vehicles... after that, the likely culprit is probably the gauge itself. Hope this helps!
UPDATE ON THE FORD RANGER
Sure thing Todd, here's your update: It's about to celebrate a 20th b'day, is nearing 300,000 miles, still doesn't burn any oil, routinely hits 30mpg on the highway, and the rust monster is just starting to poke its ugly head out through one side of the bed. ;)
Solid mpg!
Thank you sir!
I have a 2003 ford ranger xlt 3.0 RWD. And it is pretty good on gas as well. It has 207,000 miles on it and still runs pretty good.
Still got mine b reg85
I've been trying to get my CC working on my 91 Celica and I have fixed the obviously leaking cap and it has made little no no difference and there is still no light on my dash, did you replace all the capacitors on the board and any other components?
Every cap was replaced, but be careful one of them is non-polarized, all the rest have polarity on the board. We're now tracking down vacuum leaks which are causing probs... the suspension needs work as well. Basically keeping any 35-year old car going, expect the work to be endless!
Pulley’s, intakes, complete exhaust tune = power!
Impressive at that time
Heck, still impressive 30 years later!
@@YourKeysPlease Not really, compared to even the most basic standard of today
@lifeshort different bikes, he had a bigger rear sprocket but today's riders use one nearly as big as the wheel and there brake set ups are wild
Dear god I need one
Fortunately Shane, they made gazillions of them over the years so it shouldn't be that hard to find a decent one -- appreciate your comment!
Went to school with him at Thomas aquinas hasn’t changed a bit 😮
Thanks for sharing a bit of the story from way back when Keith and not surprised at all, just a great bloke all 'round 👍
is he still alive?
Hi. do you have the value of the capacitor? and how to recognize the polarity of the original one?
Depending on your year and model the values may be different -- best to take yours apart and have a close look, the caps will be clearly marked. With electrolytics, the polarity is universally stripe side negative... hope this helps!
@@YourKeysPlease hello. Aucune indication sur le condensateur d'origine.
The first vehicle I ever bought brand new for 93 fzr 600. I was stationed add camp lejeune. And this was my vehicle. I did a lot of partying up and down the North Carolina coast and Myrtle Beach on that motorcycle . Same color
Thanks for sharing your story from the Unknown -- definitely a great bike... we'd love to find another!
Did you happen to sell it in Denver?
American comentary is so funny.😂😂😂
Barely run in many more miles to be had!
For those who have issues with poor milage I have a few thoughts based upon expereince with my 2000 3.0 ranger. 1) After time sensors can become "lazy." I have replaced every sensor and in some cases could feel a difference. O2 sensor can be changed ever 50K. Sensor do have a limited usable lifespan. 2) I had a HUGE change in MPG when I did an engine flush. Liquimoly added for 10 minutes running at idle, drain and new oil/ filter THEN run for 10 minutes at idle and drain and ad oil/filter. Flushing the flush with clean oil is UBER important before placing the vehicle back in service. While I take excellent care of the engine I still drained a ton of black/brown oil after the flush. Engine also became quieter at idle. Minor vibrations in higher RPM also went away. Research this completely before tackling this job on your own. 3) For V6 ranger the stock cat back exhaust is waaayyyyyy too small. I went 2 1/4 back and could feel a noticable difference in power. 4) Clean your EGR, and tubing every 30K. 5) Check your fuel pressure at the rail. I put in a new pump 6 years ago and last year the engine went down on power massively. I was getting 30 psi when it should have been 55-60 psi. The newer fuels are hard on seals. 6) plug wires and plugs!!! 7) Exhaust leaks at the minifolds and down the exhaust. I had replaced the cat gaskets on both ends which helped with torque and MPG. 8) as far abatt/alternator cablesgo, try "the big three" upgrade. Google it. It did make a difference. 9) seafoam or valve cleaner, do that once a year. Makes the vehicle run smoother and lower end torque increases. These are general thoughts. The 3.0 also has a few issues specific to just that engine which can greatly impact MPG and power. These trucks are great and they are also old so replacing certain things that aren't "broke" has paid off in my own expierence with better MPG and more power.
what do you mean when u said change in power changing exhaust
@@normalman23 The MPG increased and the torque curve was fatter. Going from factory 2" EXHAUST TO 2 1/4 cat back allowes the engine to breatha little more freely. I don't recommend 2 1/2" exhaust unless you have the 4.0 engine 😄

I have a 2000 ford ranger 2.5 liter 4 cylinder, 5 speed Manuel transmission 40 psi in the tires same tire height as factory but a little narrower. I drove 130 miles & burned only 3.33 gallons of regular 87 oct gasoline that comes out to 39 mpg . But i only drove 45 to 60 mph 95% of the time in 5th gear except for 30 minutes of bumper to bumper traffic. The trip was from Fort Worth, Texas to Lorena Texas. So i was driving ever so slightly down hill most of the time . Fort Worth is at a higher altitude than Lorena by a little bit . My truck had less than 400 pounds of non- factory weight.
How did you calculate fuel economy with smaller tires?
@@firstlast--- GPS miles fuel pump gallons
How do you pull up the current lamp hours and how do you reset the timer so it will warn you before you need to change it
Lamp hours are brought up on-screen through the 'info' button on the remote. According to the manual, resetting the lamp timer is done with the projector off and pressing in quick order via remote, the 'Exit', 'Enter', 'Hide', buttons then hold the down arrow button for at least 2 seconds. Hope that helps!
Even the original ones aren't that expensive.still a nice ride though.
There were only 6 coupes ever built -- this is the only unrestored one remaining in existence and its entire history is well documented. It's pure speculation what it would sell for were it to ever come up on the market -- surely some billionaire would love to have it. Thanks for your comment.
@@YourKeysPlease hell I'd love to have it. But not rich.
Nice. 10:71 stock w/gleason.
That 10.71 time was on a pre-production GPZ-T prototype that was surely a 'tweaked' factory ringer to generate great press before the worldwide release of the bike... oh, and Gleason weighed about 90 lbs. soaking wet with his Bell helmet on... 😁
NO friggin way it gets 31 mpg!! I've had 4 Rangers with the 4 cyl. motor from 1992 to 2010 and NONE of them averaged more than 25mpgs and I drive like a grandma. They ALL got 28mpg on the freeway at 70mph and 22mpg in the city for an average of 25mpg. Still have my 2010 with 80,000 miles on it and absolutely LOVE IT!!!
Your experience may be different... but regardless, it's true. 34mpg has been our best on a 400-mile trip... NOT driving 70, more like 55-60 and backing completely off the throttle on downhill runs. Plenty of other owners with similar mileage experiences here in the comments section. 👍
I meant it ran 45 mph to 60 mph 95% of the trip all in 5th gear
I got 39 mpg on a 2000 Ford ranger 180,000 + miles on it all original regular cab 5 speed Manuel transmission 4 tires same hight as factory size but a little narrower, worn down close to wear bars 40 psi . It burned 3.33 gallons in a 130 mile trip from Fort Worth Texas to Lorena Texas. LORENA is at a slightly lower altitude. So truck was traveling ever so slightly down hill . I drove 45 to 60 mph 95% of the time except for the 30 minutes in bumper to bumper traffic. Had it not been for the traffic in Fort Worth Texas I'm scared to know just how great on mpg it would have been. Scared many like yourself would call me a lier. Before the 130 mile one way trip I slapped a lot of dirt out of the old air filter. I bought the Danger Ranger for $1,500.°° cash it ran super when I test drove it on smooth roads . Right after buying it & getting plates title ect , I drove to jobs down roads with pot holes truck sounded like it was breaking in half & falling apart literally. I noticed one of the bed bolts behind the passenger seat was missing. I went to tractor supply bought a 4.5" long half inch grade 5 bolt with two heavy duty flat washers & nylon locking safety nut . I installed new nut keeping the bed from slamming against the truck frame. Also that bolt actually also stiffens & braces the truck frame . Now the truck goes over pot holes 10x better it cost me one dollar 48 cents to fix at tractor supply parking lot. Between being standard shift A/C not working & having a woman owner that had no idea that the bed bolt was it's only real macanical problem I got the crazy good on gas truck cheap $1,500.°° IMHO is a steel. My automatic 6.0 liter chevy 3/4 ton only gets about 13 mpg no matter what, the chevy is a go to h.. & back 350,000+ original miles only a water pump some belts pullys and suspension parts starter alternator flywheel, yall the gas 6.0 2000 year model truck is faster more comfortable ect ect but . Danger Ranger if driven 45- 60 mph can get 39mpg in 5th gear . Loaded very lightly. And driven carefully. So I chose to drive the slower less comfortable Danger Ranger over the 13 mpg fully equipped 6.0 gas silverado. Don't get me wrong I plan on keeping my silverado as long as I can . But if I'm doing light quick jobs or just buying groceries it's time for Danger Ranger.
My 2.5 liter 4 cylinder 5 speed Manuel transmission 2000 year model 180,000 + mile all original Ford RANGER gets well over 30 mpg when loaded light & carefully driven 45-60 mph in 5th gear & in town at 40 mph level ground or down hill also 5th gear actually reduces wear . Off course up hills one must use lower gears . My truck has a gear & speed selector that works making constant judgments based on number of circumstances and road conditions. The trucks very special selector is between my ears & eyes . 4 very special sensors mounted above the shoulders !!!
And if you want to get a whole lot less fuel mileage get a little taller and wider tires especially heavy off road tires, & air any tire you get up to 32 psi only oh and make sure to drive 70 mph instead of 55 to 60 mph . At 70 mph you are fighting air pressure build up that is simply wasting a ton of gas . So what you must figure " ¿ is me getting from point A to point B 16% to 25% quicker traveling 70-80mph? ¿ "is the shorter traveling time worth spending 20 - 50 % more on gasoline plus all the extra wear and tear on your tires engine windshield radiator water pump wheel bearings transmission ect ect ? For me personally I'm getting older I find it far better to not wake-up last minute and get up in time to make a cheap cup of coffee at home instead of waking up last minute and running late buying a $5.°° stupid cup of coffee then driving 5 miles over speed limit risking a ticket & wearing out a vehicle years before its time & wasting a bunch of gasoline. Believe it or not people commercial jet Piolets could fly faster than they do . But fuel mileage & equipment longevity are apart of the reasons they cruise at a given air speed. Your personal vehicle is extremely similar in a monetary way. If possible if your circumstances allow it leave with enough time to drive 60 mph and still arieve 5-15 minutes early. These are things that very wise people DO & try if at all possible to live within 20 miles or closer to a stationary job . I know people that have driven 1.5 hours to work one way every day , that's 3 hours round trip , VS 40minute round trip . They wear out there vehicles prematurely wasting lots of gas , they are overweight and sick because of eating fast food on the road & drinking $5.°° plus coffee full of sugar & creams fats ect . So people stay fat broke stressed in a hurry working extra hours to make up for bad decisions they started making before leaving the house. And then many people work a office job only instead of buying a Ford Maverick / old ranger or mitchabishy mirage gas saver, people are so silly they buy a half ton or bigger gas guzzler just to drive to a office job . Then complain about the high cost of living go figure. It's not the HIGH COST OF LIVING. It's the COST OF LIVING HIGH. Modesty is with the wise !!! the minimum speed limit is generally between 40 to 55 mph on the highways you do not have to drive the maximum speed or exceed it by 5 mph as many do !!! That's part of why so many are broke in debt . It's called the RAT RACE for a reason !!!
The man that started it all!!
Amen Mist! Lord knows he inspired much of our insanity on two wheels...

Hi. Nice bike! Which intake temp at 22psi?
The intake temp at 22psi without an intercooler was certainly HOT... very hot... too hot! It was on the ragged edge of severe detonation. Definitely would've benefitted from more octane.

Thx Ryley... still a great game 40+ years later -- lol
Hi, If the problem persists after changing the capacitors (like a video tutorial), what can be done?
No definitive answer there 2Temp... try all the usual suspects, cleaning the RAM contacts, fresh thermal paste on CPU/GPU, etc. etc. Beyond all that, these old dinosaurs probably aren't worth putting much more into saving. Appreciate the question, keep us posted! 👍

Yep Fonz, you got it... stock Honda seat with a color-matched cowl over the passengers portion. Appreciate the question 👍

@@YourKeysPlease wow
I just bought this exact model of bike, how hard was it to find parts and work on.
Hey Caleb, for these older machines Ebay is probably the best source on the planet. Most of the original parts have been discontinued long ago... appreciate your question!
great vid, thanks... yep, if you dont remove the internal baffles they'll end up getting blown out anyway.... 3 issues i had with my Z750 Turbo was smallish fuel tank for thirsty engine at high speed and with no electric oil pump to the turbo you do not want to run out of fuel. turbo torque seemed to wear out soft back tyres quicker but harder tyres would slip, and chain and sprocket wear was something to constantly watch for... all these things were related to my heavy wrist coz it was a bike that was made for some abuse... apart from that the bike was awesome. real good for 200kph cruising.
Wow.
Agreed Eugene... wow is right, Boyd was definitely one of the best!
Hello brother, thanks for a great video, I have a question I have Toyota Supra mk3, before was 7mGTE and the engine swapped to 1jz GTE, my RPM is not working. If I change the capacitor it will work ?!
