Used to use this channel for random nerdy stuff,

BG3 - WoS Monk Durge; Solo Honour Mode - vs Raphael (Act 3 Spoilers)
- I thought they could be affected by crawler mucus, whoops. if I were to do it again I'd have applied oil of accuracy just to make it even less likely I can miss. Other mistake I made was using psionic backlash in the first turn - with the Helldusk boots I can use my reaction to automatically pass a failed save, which is absolutely what I should've saved my reaction for in case I failed my concentration on haste, I got lucky in that respect however, with an AC of 27 it was very hard for them to land a hit in the first place lol.

Does boosting while grinding not affect your speed? (Great run btw)
it does in most cases but some of the rails in this level don't seem to be affected from what I can tell, and prevent you from boosting when you're on them altogether for I guess that reason, notably the large one on the clock tower. Only way to boost on them is to start a boost before getting on them, but when I would do that I still seemed to be going the same speed, just wasting boost charge

Not bad! It could use some optimization here and there, but apart from a few moments, overall solid run! Have you tried the WR routes yet? (Obv without M Speed as that's a whole nother beast
Hey thanks! Haven't tried the WR routes, but I may try rerunning this one at some point as there were some things I wasn't happy with, however I tend not look too closely at other runs, I like to figure out routes myself :) . As for M speed, probably won't be tackling that as I prefer to do glitchless runs.

I got this same time on Frontiers but they cut out the 2D section of the level entirely, really just goes to show how much faster modern sonic is in Generations
that just means you're bad at the level in Frontiers
@@TheAxmore The cyberspace levels lowered Sonic's boosting speed to a level below Generations, to be honest I think they fine tuned the one from Forces, which would make sense because the base Forces boost is also slower than the Sonic Generations boost
@@TheAxmore also out on the islands whilst Frontiers Sonic is faster than Generations Sonic with the boost (and only with the boost and dropdash because Sonic's normal run caps at a certain speed), Sonic still lost his ability to run on water which I believe he had ever since either Sonic 2 or Sonic 3
@@LyricMammal Well the cyberspace level is condensed to match the slower speed. But really I just meant that 1:45 is an atrocious time on the cyberspace version of chemical plant. That level is less than a minute if you run it well and way lower than that if you actually use speedrun tech

There is, you can pretty much jump through the entire level, but I prefer to do glitchless runs 😉

Jump boots gives you the ability to jump in morphball form. To trigger shinespark you have to jump while you are standing, so yes, it's possible to do the Morphball-Shinespark. Also, you can do it with diagonal trajectory in any form
