I never played 14, the last I had was 13, and it took a month of Sundays to simulate the week after you played your game. I'm just glad that this one isn't slow like that.

I had this debate with an old friend back in the day. He always argued DKR had more tracks, vehicles and features, items were predictable based on balloons and its AI didn't rubberband. However, I always said MK64 was more fun because races were more exciting, action was faster paced and characters were more charismatic (like Wario). Also although MK64 had fewer tracks I liked them more. Races in DKR were slow and boring and the game in general was bland. Give me MK64 all day!!

This game really did have some legendary teams. My favorite dynasty team is easily WVU with freshmen Pat White, Slaton, Owen Schmitt and Pat McAfee. The spread option was so much fun to run in this era
