In this video you will see mesa fire medical *New Units* Medical response 209 responding to a stroke in Gilbert with Medic 253. Recently Mesa moved Medical response 218 to station 202 to make room for engine 223 which is now stationed at 218 and to make room for MR218(202) they moved MR202 to station 209 making it medical response 209.

I wish chandler would get a hazmat they always use gilberts.
Chandler does have a hazmat truck at station 284 which is on the west side of chandler so Gilberts hazmat is closer. Thanks for watching!!!

So What Is Low Acuity Purpose?
A Low Acuity responds to mainly EMS call's (E.G Fall injury's ALOC's etc
Yes, the LA responds to mostly the BLS medical calls to keep the 4 person ALS crews available for higher acuity calls.

why is it rare?
LT289 is rare because they are usually using a ladder truck but they broke that truck so they went into a spare ladder but they broke that so they went into a different spare ladder and they broke that so they are using this engine as a ladder tender and it’s rare because this engine is a 2004 engine and nobody has ever caught it responding and it’s rare to see a chandler ladder in an LT!! Thanks for watching!!!
