Hey Mr. T! How're doing bud? Your videos recently helped get me back in the swing of automotive work! It would be a joy to see ya and catch up! Peter Hamm
Can I test a capacitor with the craftsman meter?
بلنص
that is rediculous all you have to do is devide 230. 6 by 25 .4 on your calulator and that will give you the metric conversion to inches for your drum diameter way he explained it is to complicated there is no need for it i think he just likes to hear him self talk i used one of those ammco drum mikes for 49 years it is not that difficult all those calculations on the paper are bull shit he is a moron
Very good video. Thank you.
Зачем резиновый ремень надевать на диск?
it stops a ringing vibration between the rotor and the cutting tips if it vibrates it leaves a rough surface on the rotor
mine is cutting swirls in the rotors. any ideas?
did you use a vibration damper on the rotor
@@PeterShaw-lb9lt yes. I haven’t had time to mess with it but it’s called a record swirl. Looks like an old LP groove being cut into the rotor.
Very well done video for a beginner like me. Thank you!
I bought this tool and in all honesty, don't buy it! There is no support as this went down and now can't buy the o2 sensor on the device! Great while it worked but again customer support sucks!
Good morning. I am just starting my journey as a diy’er and I am retro fitting the a/c system in my car to 134a specs. Your video I understand to the max. The gauge you use is similar in design. The minor difference is , my gauge is by unwell. My yellow hose connection does not come with purge valve . Please explain the position of the yellow hose during the whole operation .
Guyz you are cruel is explaining perfect 👌
Thanks for your information, I even learn more some info I didn't have 💯 explaining and undersdable
Can I perform this test on a GDI engine or not ?
So if I have a 250 point????? Brake drum. And I have a choice between a 200 mm????? Or 250 m.????? Spring rebuild kit. I should go with a 250 mm? Drum spring rebuild kit?
He has no idea how to use a drum mike if the drum is 9 inch you set to 9 on both sides of the micrometer and take a measurement 230 mm ÷ x 25.4 = 9 055 tho std his way is way to complecated if he is teaching his students that way i feel sorry for his students that is the most stupid way of doing it by the time he measured it i could have measured it machined it and put it back i used one of those ammco drum micrometers for 49 years as a brake specialist
So hoses are hooked up, gauges indicate the system is low, then no gas is added but hoses are disconnected... confusing at best. Would think that with low system you would add gas while hoses are connected.
7 minutes to crank lol
Very nice video, Thanks
You mentioned to use a spark tester or jumper wire , couldn't the coil connector just be taken off during test?
I really appreciate this video, so clear and easy to understand thank you. I needed to revise this for my auto class test tommorow.
On the Craftsman what does the 1.5v Battery setting do differently from the dc volt setting?

Great video! I wonder if you can help me with this question: I'm having an interment charnging problem with a Honda Odyssey and my question is that how can I bypass the computer if the no charging happens on the road somewhere, so I can get home or to a safe place? Thanks!
Very very use full this video❤
Really appreciate the help 10/10 stars for you
Great video Teach
Very clear and informative video. Thanks
WIsh I knew where to find discard thickness for a rotor and drum as not all have them :(
Very well done 👍, sort of reminds me of a relative compression test , it’s dirty free tests that saves you time and gives you a track of where the problem is, especially it looks like 2 of the cylinders are low compression, good job!!!👍👍👍
We are being helpful by this
Thanks for the video.
You don't need to do a "non-directional" wire wheel the rotor....
you do as the cutting tips come out on the rotor they leve a slight thread on the surface it will pink up on the pads
Hi, I have the Craftsman 82141 tester and I can't read all of the numbers on one of the two fuses in the multi-meter that i need to replace. With the back off and bottom of meter facing down the fuse is the one on the right side. The fuse says 10A250V but I cant read the other numbers that may indicate size etc. One set of letters appears to say GFE on one end of the fuse. Can you help on this? Thanks!
Thanks for the video! I have the same Craftsman meter and want to test amps/milliamps output of a 12V battery trickle charger that is rated as 800 milliamps output. So if I understand this correctly to test the current/amps output I need to have the red lead in the 10A grey marked position on the bottom left of the multi-meter. Is that correct for the leads? In turn the setting selector would be moved towards the lower right of scale where it is also grey and reads 10A and near is also says A over DC. Is that correct? If so with the battery trickle charge I should then be able to use black lead to negative and red lead to positive output clamps and read the amps/milliamps output of the charger to make sure its working. Is that correct? Thanks for your input on this!
Just came across this video. Very helpfull many thanks for taking the time to post this. Merry Christmas & All the best from England. 😊👍👍
Below 9.6 v and charge at 2 amps? More like 3 days of charging!! 😁
