Where is the guidance for a five-day-a-week, in-person Middle/High School plan? Isn't that the goal for every public, private and charter school? Also, the stable groups guidance is nearly impossible to implement in the middle of a year or semester for a middle/high school in California. How would you implement stable groups and ensure Equity and Access for students to AP, IB, CTE courses, the A-G courses for UC and Cal State requirements or even courses required to graduate high school? It's almost March. Two months left. Students need these credits now, this year.

Unfortunately, there's an easy answer to the professor's final sentence (after describing a sustainable, equitable world) -- "Who doesn't want that". The answer? The billionaire ruling elites who currently control the governments and the economies of developed countries don't want that. What to do? I'm afraid it's down to sustained mass demonstrations of non-violent civil disobedience. Why? Because all of the traditional levers of democratic change have been captured by those elites. In the U.S., for example, we have: manipulated elections, a paid-off congress, politically appointed judiciary, corporate-controlled mass media and so on. The only power "we the people" have left is the power of numbers, in the streets, directly confronting the establishment.
