Man, that last lap was hard to see...insane, but not fair for your Sir Luke...I would report the guy honestly, he clearly forcing you to go off track. Also at 6:30...what the hell?? Seems like he wanted to ram you against the wall!! What a tough race...hope the next one can go smoother for you! 💪💪

@@chrisrogerssimracing Thanks Chris, definitely managed to up my defensive game on that last lap, I'm a bit like you in that I generally don't defend too hard. I was sorely tempted to report him but I almost felt it would be petty seeing that he was already behind me after his penalties.

I’ve just done two of these races, 12.15 and 2.15, and I’m filing reports for both… two different drivers doing exactly the same to me as what that guy did to you on the last lap. I spotted other people doing it too, in front of me. Seems it’s rife in this combo! Everybody’s at it 🤣

@@JohnElliot-vi3nt Thanks mate, I'm not very good at editing so it generally takes me about 2 to 3 hours all in to complete. To be perfectly honest, I expected to be way down the bottom in this one, but all the carnage worked in my favour.

@@JohnElliot-vi3nt Livery is reasonably simple if you have Photoshop or Gimp. I linked a yt guide on the CoR discord. As for launching, I could probably do it better but I just press the loud pedal 😁

You're asking ME for advice, that's definitely a first. Split 1 is usually pretty damn good if there are 2+ splits. If you are 2nd/3rd split of 4/5, then the skill levels are so close to yours it can be either amazing or utter carnage, it's so hard to tell. If you are bottom split and there are some very low sr's carnage is a given. Ferrari's are fun, but so hard to handle. Do a different one each week?

@@TheFlying-Scotsman Thank you for answering. I am certainly not a top split guy, just got out of rookie status, all in MX-5s, had bronze rating and a D3 SR (3,6 or thereabout I think). After two MX-5 races as a 'non-rookie'I am Iron+ with a SR under three, so I thought there might be less carnage in the Ferraris. They might be harder to handle, but i thought that might shy away the kamikaze-drivers. Might as well be the fact that I had to race the last races on sunday nights. Guess I'll just give the Ferrari a try. Oh, and that horn, didn't even know thatwas possible online..

Sunday night is tricky, people have had all week to get fast. I like to race a Monday or Tuesday if I can. Check out Eduardo Cavalli @EduEK4 for setups on various cars, he's seriously good and his track guides are amazing.

Yep, I was mostly shit, but that horn really annoyed me.

@@nocommentaryjustgaming Not sure about courage, stupidity might be a better description, but they are so much fun. Setup is key in these things. I've been lucky enough to avoid some crazy incidents in my first few races.

It was bizarre, couldn't quite believe it. Held it till last lap when P2 divebombed me and took us both out. He got P2, P3 won and I got P3.

@@chrisrogerssimracing Told you it was nuts 😆. Fun until the last lap punt, still a top 10 which made me very happy. Got taken out last night from 1st in the off season Porsche Cup, but you should try them, they're a lot of fun. The HUD is great, that's the free version of CMRT. There's a paid update which is apparently even better.

@@ibro68 it was more the Vasquez boys that were concerning me with their huge off track excursions which gave them a massive speed differential at T1/2 especially.

Hi, no probs at all, I mostly use CMRT which is free to use from www.overtake.gg apart from 1 sidekick one which shows me what I need to adjust tyre pressures by. Hope that helps. Hopefully see you in a race soon and thx for the sub.
