Wicked worm beast does'nt work like a spirit monster. It goes to the hand in the endphase of the *controller* so it will stay till your opponants endphase. Is my favorit deck! I play it without chaos but with Manticore and one elementsaurus:)

Is there a way to resolve dark paladin, either by the effect of the other players card or something I'm missing in the main deck? Like just in case the opponent is playing fusion gate?

Very interesting compilation of theory going into this deck build. At first glance to me it looks like the T. Dragons, Serp, and Sorc would clog your warrior engine and keep you from being able to consistently apply pressure, but there surprisingly might be enough benefits (Raigeki Break being a big one) to counterbalance that. This feels like something quite new to me.

Good variant of this build. I am seeing success running it in Yu-gi-Oh 2006, though I had to sub out Mind Crush because that card does not exist in the game -- A.T.

The classic random beatdown deck made me smile. When I was young I got most of my cards from the packs that came in the tins I would get as gifts, rather than booster boxes, so I didnt have enough cards that worked together to make cohesive decks. Most of my decks ended up looking something like that. This kinda makes me want to make a goat format deck around metal armored bug, one of my favorite cards back then

Awesome and innovative form of Soul Control.

I feel like the prevalence of chaos strategies has also something to do with the impactful nature of the trinity cards, and also cards like dustshoot and the occasional hand reaping effects. Chaos decks just feel very comfortable in the format given the way they can manage resources and interact with the graveyard. Playing other strategies is certainly viable, the issue is that it's much more difficult to develop the same confidence while using a deck that doesn't play serpent, thunder dragon, magician of faith and a bunch of other things that can make you go plus, and help you reach deeper into your deck to recover from a bad spot. And Gigantes is a top tier card but not as game-warping as BLS. And yet something like earth aggro is getting a lot of interesting tops lately to say the least, so something is clearly being overlooked.

Im just getting into the deck. Thanks for the video it really help. Strike ninja is a old favorite of mine. I have a big tourny with friend in 2 week. I will for sure play couple of games with ninja that day. If i can pratice enough before might even considere the deck over chaos. Thing is i cannot settle on a list ... recruter vs spy and beatdown ( the list skilledbrown post from a follower that got a nice result) Must say im a big fan of virus, but if tomato, d.d. are the real deal im welling to go that route too. Just need a little help knowing the best package.

I want an official format "'Goat Advanced'' or something like this, where apart from the list of Goat you can use any card shown in the anime, the first one, no matter when it was released like egyptian gods, legendery dragons and so on.

You want to keep your tribute monster to about 5, 6 at max otherwise you're going to get brick hands with a deck that's famous for bricking in the first place because of how much it relies on combo cards. Blowback dragon can also be a good tribute monster for the deck as it works like a monarch in that you can use its effect when summoned and still get value out of it if you used soul exchange to tribut summon it and can't attack that turn. I also wouldn't run Airknight as its stats are just too low, at 1900 attack it gets walled by GK spy easy or gets run over by Zombyra, Blade Knight etc. 3x Gravekeepers Spy does what you wanted Dark Scorpian Meanae to do, it gets attacked but has 2000 def so doesn't die then flips up and specail summons another 2000 def monster that you can use as tribute fodder and you can add in 1x Gravekeeper Guard with 1900 def so your 3rd spy has a target to special summon off its flip effect plus GK Guard has a good effect too. If you stil wanted to do warriors with monarchs it can work just because of how good a card Rota is and will probably work much better than your current wind set up. I would say 1/2x Zombyra, 1x Goblin Attack force (this is nice to search wilth Rota and kill something with) 1/2x Blade Knight, and then your staple warriors 1x DDWL, 1x Exiled, 1x Mystic lv2. That should give you about 6-8 warriors which is plenty to search with Rota. Twin-Headed behomoth's effect works well to tribute it so I would keep that but the rest of the wind monster can go. 1x Sangan can also be good to search out cards like Twin-Headed, GK spy, DDWL, Exiled etc. I would say run 2/3x Soul exchange and 1/2x Brain control and toss out creature swap as that card is usually only used with scapegoat tokens/recruiter monsters/or spirit monsers and you're not running any of those cards. I would add 2x upstart goblin to the deck, it sucks giving your opponet 2000 LP but it helps a lot for this deck to not brick as much so you can get those combo cards to make plays with. 1x Swords of Revealing Light can also be really good in this deck, can buy yourself time to draw cards and get combo pieces to claw back into games or set up plays. With Jinzo in the main deck I would keep the trap card count low or just use 3x royal decree to protect your tribute monsters from battle traps and maybe 1x call of the haunted because call on Jinzo is really good. Hope this helps

Correct me if I'm wrong, but counter traps in the damage step is a modern innovation. During goat format, the rules allowed only for stat modulation and effects that specific activate/resolve in the damage step.

Ok. I play this deck like A LOT. And have tested many variants. First thing I will say is: 3 Ninjas is WAY too much and bricky. U never wanna see that guy early game. Only scenario is if u would run 3 tomatoes, crash all 3 and get newdoria or smh like that. Ninja is a mid to late game card. I also dont play spy so I dont see how u get Darks so fast in the grave. Not even morphing or cyber jar 😅. I tested 1 ninja for the longest time and I always saw him when I needed it. Running 2 ROTAS is optimal. Cause essentially u have 3 copies of Ninja. And u hold it in hand until u need it. Most scenarios u have to search exciled first for grind game and get into mid to late game. Even maybe Card D. would justify ur pick of 3 Ninjas. But trust me. 3 is death sentence. Right now im testing 2. Cause (just sometimes) i missed him. But really not much. On the flip side I see 1 more often in opening hand n‘ it gets annoying. So I need to test more to see if i go back to 1. Btw Burial and Call ensure that 1 is enough in case he dies randomly of a judgment or smh. Like I said. Cut 1 ninja at least. Even consider running 1 and 2 Rotas. He is a card u wanna see starting turn 6-7. And this is only about the Ninja ratio 😂. U can see I play this deck a ton. Always changing things and tweaking. If u wanna have more advice or share thoughts im open for a big discussion of how we can make this deck a meta threat :)
