What’s the part number for the wire extensions?
can you take a picture of the number from the factory pot?
Dude get to the fucking point nobody cares
Hi! Do you believe if with the 5.5" drag risers is no necessary the turn signals and throttle wires extensions? Thank you for the video, excellent work.
@motoberraco turn signals you might be good but I'm not a 100%sure about the throttle
Is the oxygen sensor aditional cable important to buy or not?
@kasner67 it soulful come with the kit otherwise the oem is too short unless you cap it
No DB killer for the win awesome sounding bike with the M$ exhaust 🏍🏍
@gmbmedia28 thank you! I have the DB killer removed and I'm loving it
nah ngl db killer all day , my fz1 i rock pretty much straight pipe loud af but gets old ima keep my mt09 nice n quiet cuz ppl dont call cops on quiet bikes as much lol
Ur bike is ticking
i heard it’s normal
lmfao that's not a tick......bro's never heard this bike before prolly also thinks that toyota tick is an engine tick... we aint in the 90s anymore motors dont all sound the same
@@wokeamerica142toyota? yami tick is a real thing, it’s the automatic cam chain tensioner making that noise. both my MT07 and MT09 had the same noise before i drowned it out with exhaust. completely normal
is it annoyingly loud when riding with the db killer?
I took it off after a couple days off riding due to some weird vibration the sound was making my helmet feel I can't really explain it so I took off the DB killer more it's better
Lovely sound😊
Thank you! Sounds so much better on person
Just bought 23 MT09SP. Got the full Yoshi AT2. Did you have to put a power commander on? Or send the ECU out to get mapped? If not does it run lean or pop?
How did you get it so fast? Lol originally I wanted the AT2 but they kept going on backorder so I went with this. I have my flashed or added PC I'm planning on flashing it just not yet
And it does pop lol and it sounds awesome
Please let me know if our 4 inch extension cables would be enough for the during signals thank you good job on it looks good
Are you doing 6.5 inch risers? If so then 4in extension will be plenty
WOULD A 4 INCH EXTENTIONS WORKS ? OF RTHE TURN SIGNALS
nice video , can you tell me the exact length of the 5/16 Bolts that fits in those risers clamp, 1 inch , 1 1/2 inch or 1 1/4 inch Length ?
I think it's 1 1/14 but I'm not sure I don't remember honestly it's been a while and I sold that bike
Where did you get the extension for the turn signal and throttle? I am installing my 6.5 riser 2" pull back and I think I will need those extensions. Link?
Yes you do, I got it from the harley-davidson dealership but I am sure you can get them from ebay as well
Great job with your install sir. I plan on installing a CC on a Softail Standard and your vid helped immensely on how to do it. Ride safe!
Thank you! Good luck and ride save, brother
Hello ! I was just thinking the same thing, I should add a CC on my Softail Std '23. Was the job difficult? Did you end up having to take off the tank? Activate the option in a HD shop ? thank you
Hi, Can you help me with the details of the extension that you adquired to install, I mean the cables... And in additiion, any issues adter with the clutch and brake modification?
For the clutch I just rerouted the cable and same with the brake
Ok thanks.!, I think is the best idea for brake and clutch,,, but my point is related to the electrical cables,,, I´m trying to get the codes or serials to buy the cables here in Local HD in Chile, they says that dont have stock; I need to buy in USA, do you have the serials?:
There are only 2 types, and both work, there is a long one for ape hangers and short ones for risers. If you ask just for wire extensions, they'll know what you are talking about,
THANKS SO MUCH!! I will be changing my stock handle bar to 12 in. This is a great reference.
No problem Goodluck ride save
Do you know if they will fit a 22 Fxlrs? Great video and very informative 👍
Great video! Ordering mine today. Thank you!
Thank you, don't have the bike anymore 😢but kept my cc
Good job Momo jan
Thank you!
Worked just like a charm on my 20 fxst. Thanks man! Also if you have a fuel pack you can enable it through the fuel pack too!
That's awesome man!!! Ride safe!
Hi could you please explain how to enable the cruise control with fuel pack 3?
I'm going to be adding this to my 2022 Low Rider S. So you don't need to take the tank off ? You just did it so it was easier to organize/hide the cable ?
Yes, you could just take the front bolt off the tank and left it up
@@affyentertainment7418 Thanks for the reply. My local Harley has one in stock. I'm going to grab it and install it. Your video helped a lot.
Man, San jacinto harley wants 75 bucks to enable mine
Damn that's crazy
I just put cruise control on mine, got it flashed on the ECU at the dealership, and I cannot figure out how tf to use it. It doesn't set properly, but it's gotta be the way I'm using it.
Have you used yours yet?
Yes i always is it specially now that it's cold lol I keep my hands on the engine, just push to turn on and up or down for set and speed control
Can i install it on 2012 sportster iron?
I'm not really sure on that
Harley is becoming cheap, it came stock on my 2016 fxdls
They're always trying to make more money, honestly I don't think they care about customers anymore 😒
I'll be installing mine soon on my 2021 Street Bob 114. So excited! Except that my dealer wants to charge $75 to enable it. Lucky for you they did it for free!
I installed one on my brother's street bob 2021 as well and the dealer in his city didn't charge! If you can find another one I'd go there
@@affyentertainment7418 I'll have to call around and hope they say "don't worry bro it's free" 😆 Thanks for the video!
Thanks for the video! I'm about to do this on my 2022 Low Rider S!
Good luck buddy
Good share. Once you have cruise control you don't want to live without it. Came oem on my 2017 FXDLS.
Now I am looking for sports bike with cc lol
I picked up cruise control for my 2019 HD Breakout, still in the box! (I'm so lazy) This video was a great help to me as I didn't want to shell out the $$ for the install. Using the fisher was something I would not have thought of, so thanks for that! Great first video btw! One of these days I will get around to doing the install, also nice to know that it shouldn't cost anything to enable it once its done!
Thank you very much! Wait till you have to change your bars that's a fun one lol going to a 16in apes
Me toooo! I've got a couple things in boxes to install on my 2017 Breakout but they require pulling the rear wheel to get to the electrical harness which is a big PITA! I'm now waiting for my cc to ship; maybe that will get me into gear for installing them?
According to legend, gremlin bell should be at lowest point on bike.
I don't hear it enough lol but it has been relocated
When you installed this and rode your bike before it was flashed, did you lose the ability to see what gear you were in on your gauge? I just installed one on my 22 and I haven't got it flashed yet. I noticed while riding that my gauge doesn't show what gear I am in. Wondering if it's just an ECM thing that'll be ok when flashed? The rest of the left control module buttons are working fine (blinker, high/low beam, etc)
I didn't really notice if it didn't or did to be honest
Did Your gear indicator start working again after you got the cruise control turned on
@@markclay4598 nope. It was a bad cruise module.
Thanks for this , I just bought my 2022 low rider S today and think it’s pretty ridiculous there’s no cruise on these things standard !! Looks like I should be able to do this myself though , thanks to your video. Rubber side down dude !
Congrats brother, good luck you got this, and ride hard ride safe
Hi guys, please tell me where can I buy a cruise control, on the Harley website they write sold out, thx
@@elanamphibio6790 I ordered it from the dealer about 2 months ago, still hasn’t arrived and the parts guys say they’ve only gotten a couple in lately and it’s looking like November time frame ! Better put your order in for 2023 delivery!
@@FXLRS Thank you, I also ordered yesterday through a dealer, he says only in December there will be delivery, so we are waiting
Did you have to have yours flashed? I just got mine in today.
did you change the bushing?
No
@@affyentertainment7418 thanks man
No problem buddy
what’s the lenght of the 5/16 bolt you bought?
1 1/2"
For something like this u should definitely take time to elk the difference in how if actually feels
I was gonna make a video of the test ride but changed to apes soon after
Good video man gonna do this to mine! Now to find a video to remove the gas tank lol...
Thanks man, the tank is easy just 2 bolts and 1 electric 1 gas connector
@@affyentertainment7418 well damn lol that's easy! Appreciate it, keep making your videos man!!!
Hi, where did you bought that risers?
Ebay
You used stock riser clamp with those risers ???
Yes
You recommend those risers? I think I’m going to go ahead and buy the 8.5 risers
8.5 would be much better but you will need all the extensions and new brake line and clutch cable
@@affyentertainment7418 thank you for taking the time and getting back to me I appreciate it !!! Be safe
Hey boss did you have to change out any cables or lines with the 6.5” risers ?? Bike looks great
Just the signals, it will still work if you use the slack from the bars to give it more length but the extensions are cheap so why not
@@affyentertainment7418 appreciate you thank tou
Where did you order it?
Ebay
What's the pull back on these risers, 1" or 2 "
I believe it's 1 1/2"
Did you connect the cruise control wire where the regular control wire was connected? And was there any other wire that needed to be connected?
Yes just plug in the same connector
Just cut the bolts down? Yes?
You sure can but they're cheap
Personally I wouldn't recommend drag specialties risers it's a very soft metal the threads get tore up easily and it just feels unsafe you get what you pay for id go with bung king or thrashin supply
Hi... great video. Do you know if the same product will fit on 2021 Low Rider S?
I don't see why not, it fits most HDs no problem
It boils my blood Harley didn’t put these on stock. They put cruise control on so many bikes but not this one stock? Such bull shit.
100% agree with you specially for the price tag they charge
Get to it man!
I initially did the 5.5" risers with no issues and have decided to go to 6.5" I was on the fence about the wire extensions and after talking with a few others who have done it, it appears like there is enough slack in the wiring once you pull the excess signal wires from the hand controls. I pulled about half the slack when I put the 5.5" risers on and I have a ton of slack left in the wires still routed through the upper triple. I did source a stock lowrider upper clutch cable so I can keep the clutch routed through the upper triple clamp like stock. Video was a great help, thanks!
That's awesome man I'm glad it worked out for you I didn't realize the slack at first so I got the extension and it kind of looked tight when I was turning the bars but that good man
Hi @beckjacob, please could you confirm, with the 5.5" risers is no necessary to use wire extensions for the throttle and turn signals? All the original lines and wires works well with the 5.5" ? Thank you
Would those stock wires have worked if you just ran them on the outside near the gas tank instead of buying longer wires?
Probly but extensions aren't that expensive plus looks a lot more cleaner
