Anytime I burn I get Pyronema fungus growing up out of the charred area. I wonder if there's any soil relationship between plants like corn grown in biochar amended soils and the Pyronema mycelium?
Posoh! We shared your comment with Dr. Frank,. He responded with, "Fascinating issue which I have never encountered. Would love to learn more!"

good job guys ,bringing back our culture along with the sturgeons
Excellent video, I'm glad you are talking about such an important subject. It is our future after all. It was funny seeing someone named Marshall Pecore, that's my great grandpas name. My family is of Menominee descent, from Wisconsin and the UP but we live in Minnesota now and I'm learning Ojibwemowin, I would really like to learn Menominee language as well, and I noticed that at least one word is similar, Mitiig (tree) so I'm hoping a lot more will transfer over from Ojibwemowin. Miigwich
makes my heart warm. great job.
I live In Schoolview :D Thats in the land of the menominee!!!!!!!!!!!1
Thank you for this video. I am a Wisconsinite that now lives in Brazil and one of the places that I miss most, for it's beauty, is this marvelous forest and the culture that has preserved it.
I noticed exactly the same thing w/the same indicator (Bridal Wreath Bush) as Dr. Verna! along w/my peonies and roses! Wonderful video. So clear and to the point! Thank you for sharing :)
AMAZING!
It was a great experience to work on this video. My hope is that it will remind people of how important nature's role is in our lives. There were hours of interview footage and some great things were said that never made it into this final version. Protect the earth and respect each other.
