Thanks Bro. Bryce for getting Bro. Rusty to talk about the late night contemplation on the sermon and working the sermon out a little different last minute. This is great "Deeper" insight and I loved hearing about it. We need to be sensitive to the Spirit and able to follow his lead and direction. Thank you for your insight on these verses, it has always been a little confusing for me to understand.

Dangerous ways to give: Don’t make it about us, Don’t try to steal glory from God in our giving, Don’t give seeking praises of men because that is the only reward we will get Right ways to give: Give so that we bring attention to God and try to not bring any attention to ourselves to receive glory and praises of men. Give with a pure heart as an act of worship to God with no other motivation. Give cheerfully and willingly, not out of requirement or from guilt trip. Give intentionally, not out of habit or routine.

Did y'all coordinate the green tone clothes cause this is about giving? lol Great to hear about the growth, my wife and I were in attendance yesterday, packed parking lot and full auditorium, if your going to have a problem, not having enough room for all of the people interested in hearing God's word is a good one to have :) I have struggled with the things you are talking about with feeling like people will think that I haven't given if I let the plate pass by, and I will admit that I do the opposite, I have to catch myself If I see someone let the plate pass by them If I get a thought of judging them, I think a lot of people have that same feeling. I think because we are still with the traditionally way of giving and now also have new ways.

If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. Jesus came to make dead people come to life. The old you dies and the new you comes alive. (2 Corinthians 5:14,15,17) "... if one died for all, then were all dead: And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (Mark 8:35) "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it." The gospel comes to us so that Christ can reconcile us to God, and then we can bring the gospel to others so that they can be reconciled. (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you." (2 Corinthians 6:17) "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you." (John 15:18-19) " I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)

After attending on 6-30-24, I was looking to see if there was a recording of the sermon so that i could rewatch and share with my wife. I was happy to find the sermon to watch again and share, and I was thrilled to find this "deeper" series, i'm so glad yall are doing these and I have watched some of them many times and shared. I look forward to them every week now, as well as the sermon and watch with my wife. I love the sound messages coupled with the laid back feel and humor 😁 don't get discouraged putting these videos and podcasts out. They are a great encouragement and great content. I want to go back and start at episode 1, watching the sermon and the podcast. 👍🙏
