I remember seeing Kenny and Beverley dancing at the Scottish open championships 30 years and my mum turning to me and saying 'What a figure' about Ms Rees. She was exquisite. I so wish we knew what happened after her and Kenny split. They were both such lovely dancers yet they just disappeared overnight. Vibeke Toft - sexiest female Latin dancer of all time. WOW!!!

I so much miss the days when DanceSport looked like this! It’s beautiful now too, but it sometimes feels more Sport than Dance to me. All these people were brilliant because I looked at everything they did and thought: “I can do that, with practice.” Of course, I couldn’t do that.....but I believed I could, which made them such phenomenal ambassadors for the world of DanceSport as well. I’m inspired differently by the dancers of today, but I never look at their material and think it something I might ever have achieved.
