This is such a great class of ships. I was on the sister ship, the Serenade OTS, and loved it. Just the right size IMO. Big enough to have lots to explore but small enough to feel more intimate than the mega-ships. The outdoor seating off the buffet is great. Very nice ship tour video 👍🚢

She’s old fashioned and dreary very much like Queen Victoria..prefer the decor on the Queen Mary 2.Just my opinion..I preferred the original layout of the Queen Elizabeth 2 when she first set sail.

cant wait to board this fine ship on 7th june to PNG we did book in early jan but we found a good deal 2 pay + 2 free and we paid half of the fares for 3 of us!! the only problem is the waiting of the cabin number, i bet the waiting part is to see if we can get free upgrade cabin good tour mate! btw what time do we have to be there at the brisbane terminal if i want to have a look around at the new terminal?

Hi, we went on that cruise, 29/10/22 to NZ wasn't it? And also missed port of call Christchurch? Our cabin was on deck 13 in the middle. That ship was so amazing.

Where were you docked on this day? And what was your itinerary on this trip? (We’re booked on this ship both for a June ‘23 Alaska cruise and an April ‘24 Transpacific Sydney to Honolulu (oddly enough, both times in the exact same cabin, #3168)

This is what you would get if you mated a Princess ship with a P&O ship. It's not so much a "transformation" as a "retouch". We sailed on what would have been one of the final Golden Princess cruises (I know that's Pacific Adventure, not Pacific Encounter but they're almost carbon copies) so I'm quite familiar with the ship (we've also cruised on Diamond Princess and Sapphire Princess and there's not much difference between all of them). I guess this is indicative of the hard times cruise lines have had the last few years... budgets must be pretty tight. I must say that Golden Princess was looking a bit worse for wear when we cruised on her (in 2018) so any work on these aging ships would be an improvement.

The Coral Princess was in Newcastle today - went over for a look. Nice tub, and good size (not too big/too many passengers). I prefer to cruise with Princess but they changed their itineraries and left P&O/Carnival bogan boats to have the local market virtually to themselves. Thanks for a great vid Steve, I enjoyed it.

Lovely video we are on the Coral in September for a 4day mini cruise we are fans of Princess first time on board since Febuary 2020 can t wait!

I went on this ship 3 years ago to NZ with friends.Never been on a Cruise before had a fantastic time. Food, Accommodation, Entertainment staff were all terrific. Would definitely go again luv it. It amazed me when we arrived how big these ships are I couldn't believe. Maybe one day I'll be off sailing away again.
