Can you do a video on the different types of reinforcement assessments
Hi Dana, it still is not making much sense. This what I have understood based on another resource's videos. DRL is time based - if specified time frame passes by and response DIDN'T occur then there’s REINFORCEMENT (Jake doesn’t have alcoholic drinks for 30 minutes so you reinforce. Also, you would slowly increase that time frame.) *doesn’t engage in the behavior during this time* DRD is criteria based (Jake has 2 or less drinks to receive reinforcement. Also, you decrease criteria until you get appropriate amount of drinks) *does less than the criteria* Would you agree with this/is this correct?
it would have helped if you had did this with a question
@PasstheBigABAExam Could you please clarify which one will be more long lasting in term of reducing the bx. For example , after applying each procedure for a while in both the clinet does not hace access to R+...once i do not do the intervention in which one is more likely to occour manintenace please and generalization
@PasstheBigABAExam. Waooo i found you today . I love your short and direct explanations about this topic . Thank you so much🙏🙏🙏
perhaps if you bothered defining all you abbre4viations it just might make some since.
If this was written on a whiteboard as you broke it down it would be easier to visualize
Is the best teacher ❤
Hi, thank you for this! I'm just confused on one thing- I thought Multiple Treatment Design (a type of Reversal) compares 2 or more IVs, but the video says that Reversal is 1 IV and 1 DV?
I love the way you explain things. Thank you!!
You are so welcome! Thank you for viewing.
Hi Dana, I love your videos. Could you sometime talk about Stimulus not equivalent please?
Thank you for the suggestion. Yes, stay tuned.
Thank you !!!!!! YOU MADE THIS CRYSTAL CLEAR! THANK YOU!!!!

So glad you found this helpful. Best of luck on your journey to exam day, you got this!
I appreciate your straight-forwardness! Many instructors lure people in saying they have "the secrets to the exam," but the exam is not meant to be a mystery or something only a few, in-the-know people can 'figure out.' Thank you for keeping things simple and lively, Dana, you rock!
This is simple, but yet super helpful. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this :)
Thank you for the amazing concepts.

So helpful!
Crystal clear. Thank you
Muy bueno
Can you do a video on coping as an alternative behavior?
Thanks for the suggestion! Stay tuned.
Wow! Makes total sense!!!
Glad this helps.
aww man, I chose A because I assumed for total task chaining, each response serves as an Sd and reinforcement for the next response, so therefore they are coming in contact with the natural reinforcement
❤
Thank you representing for information available

Why is the function not a consideration for any punishment procedure?? 🙏🏼🙏🏼
@MrDaniixox, thank you for your question. It is because punishment imparts behavior change due its aversive qualities. Not because it discontinues reinforcers. Hope that is helpful.
Thank you, I love it
I wished I would of passed the 1rst time. 😢
This is so helpful!!!
I'm so glad! Thank you.
Thanks. This site is great. I’m a beginner in a post-masters VCS sequence (1 course down & 7 to go) and consider your channel a go-to resource. Keep posting, please. Thanks. DD, JD MS

I'm currently in training for being an RBT and I get so easily mixed up with the terminology and I feel like a lot of what is being taught is too technical. (I understand why but it confuses/frustrates me.) How you explain it was so much better for me personally. Thank you for making it easy to understand!

Super helpful, especially the chapstick part. Thank you!
Thank you! ;-)
I have to complete SAFMEDS everyday for school and I find myself only remembering the first word or few words to that definition and not actually remembering what that definition or concept actually is. I get that they want us to know the definitions quickly but actually knowing the concept is a different thing:(
Hi Madison, thank you for sharing that. You’re right, rote memorization is not an effective strategy for everyone. And it's not our preferred way of learning either. If you pair rote memorization with ensuring comprehension (understanding the meanings) you’re very likely to remember the main idea of the specific SAFMED concept. See if that approach helps you. - Team PTB
