Xiuh could be categorized as world music, pre-hispanic, devotional, folk and meditation.
We are all related. Whether it is human, animal, plant, or rock we have a common destiny and origin. The same is with Mother Earth, and the stars that paint the sky with beautiful lights. Out of same elements we are made. We are all related.
The word "Xiuh" is the nahuatl word to represent the pure energy manifested in the fire as a turquoise blue shade. It is also used to name the one turn of the earth around the Sun.
Many ancient musical instruments help us reach for higher consciousness when we listen to them. They were crafted for the purpose of meditation and awareness.
The sound of the Huehuetl (Aztec drum, Teponaztli, Ayakachtli (rattle), clay flutes and ocarinas resonate in the depths of our bodies bringing peace.
Bansuri flute is traditional in Hindustani and devotional music, its sweet sound is an aid to keep the focus and explore the mind through the ragga melodies.
