    I bought my RA-36 back four years ago, I got tired of the temperature swings that I modified it. The blowing air you refer to is a squirrel fan that is drawn in air from the top opening what I think they are doing is to keep your wires cooled while heating the oven - there is not enough insulation on the top side or bottom side. 1. I took off the cover of the burner on the bottom and discarded it. I then bought a JLD612 PID and installed it where the oven on the light is located. I then placed a stub JK thermo-coupler in the backside next to the gas thermometer located then I placed an SSR solid stated relay and paralleled it onto the temperature knob wires. My oven still works like normal with wild temperature swings unless I turn on the PID then I have a large sous-vide oven +/- 1/2 degree. I will buy another one for my next house and will automatically PID it. Amazon has a kit costing about $40 to get a precision oven.

    Cuts your workload in half. Get one with two valves. Yes it can still leak just like any other water source in your house. I wouldn't add one to existing build (unless super easy to get access and install) but for new construction or major remodel hell yes!

    • @Jive_Engineering
      @Jive_Engineering 8 месяцев назад

      You are correct, and I think that is why they are very popular. We did this during a remodel that included taking down the drywall, so it was convenient to put it. As you stated though, tearing down a wall just for this would be a nightmare.

    • @Jive_Engineering
      @Jive_Engineering Год назад

      If you are getting circular references, that means you are trying to do an operation on the parent while referencing the child. For example, if you try to cut the parent with a copy geometry piece that gets its information from that parent. That is a circular loop. To avoid this, use the Publish Geometry to essentially freeze that reference. Anything that happened downstream will not affect your publish geometry unless you drag it to the bottom of the tree. You can also break the associativity if you desire.

    • @nikoskolatsis4920
      @nikoskolatsis4920 Год назад

      Thank you so much for the answer, I think that both approaches sounds good and I will try to apply PGeometry hopefully without circles ref. as for the second method of breaking the associativity is what I am doing now :) thanks again really appreciate.@@Jive_Engineering

And then you take to YT to complain about them during Covid? I have no skin in the gave with them or any other RTA company, I'm currently shopping around for cabinets in fact, but you have to be fair - you (or your GC) is the end user and is responsible for reporting these issues to the company in a timely manner otherwise they can't correct them. Every company wants their customer to be happy, but they can't hold your hand the whole way to make it happen.

    • @Jive_Engineering

      Do you mean by turning on Wave Mode? To some extent, yes, however, with Product Interface you can lock down the links people can use. I have seen so many parts made from WAVE links that are unnecessary. Using PI helps you with this. There are also some other benefits, such as enforcing mates with the interface, etc. Perhaps I will do another video showcasing these options.

    That's another water source that can potentially leak and leak all over your expensive stove. Not to mention it will need to be regularly cleaned. It's trendy right now b/c of the Farm House trend, and yes it's easy to fill the pot with water. However, as you mentioned that water after it has been utilized still needs to be disposed of in the sink, which means one needs to carry the pot over the sink to be drained. If one can carry the pot to drain it in the sink then one can surely fill the pot in the sink and carry it over to the stove. The only reason I would consider it is if it adds value to my kitchen, so far reading the comments below it seems everyone likes the trend.
