Finally brother you the first to say about Victor being Robin I will say I agree and it will happen it makes sense for him to be Robin for sure, it’s a different story aside just because riddler is the one who cause his parent death and leads around with Penguin instead of Bruce Wayne

[Spoilers ahead] I do agree. The end of this season felt like a wrap up [except for the Vecna reveal at the very end]. I think I would've preferred to see Scanlan being more depressed and even trying to do drugs in Marquet and alienating himself from the group while dealing with his mental health about who he is. He should've also ended up exploding at the group by the end of the season. It was one of the most impactful and emotional moments of the campaign, and I just don't see it working out anymore. In the show, he ended up with Kaylie, like in the campaign, but he didn't end up on bad terms with the group, which in my opinion makes it more interesting once he comes back years later. I also agree that the Raishan fight was poorly executed in the show. One of the hardest fights in the campaign, and the way that Keyleth finished her off was kind of poetic, using the spell Feeblemind to turn a dragon who prided herself as a brilliant manipulator and smarter than the others. To be reduced to a brainless giant lizard instead of being the mastermind dragonic sorcerer she was by a little girl? No magic, no mind. The greatest of insults

I don't think they could have possibly done A Bard's Lament without showing Scanlan's descent into drug addiction, because that was a part of his blow-up, and the reason he felt the need to cut ties with the group. He was making a clean break. But, you know, I'm not upset about the show cutting out that storyline. It's a great moment on the show, but I don't think they could have told it in this series with the complexity required.

I want to touch on two things. first the pike nickname, as an American, I had no idea that is a thing and most likely the cast doesn't either. I do feel like I heard it being said multiple times during the game by Travis and I think the whole cast has called her that at one point or another. but I can’t fact check so I could be wrong. To me that is just one of her nicknames she has and they aren’t aware of this slur. Second, I want to touch on the point of changes made to adaptations. My opinion is that the idea of adaptations needing to have changes is wrong, you’re not making an adaptation you’re making a new story. My evidence is Netflix itself and there meany failed adaptations and I believed they failed because they believed they needed to make changes and it completely changed the story going forward but they still tried telling the same story as the source material. Once you make a change you have a completely new story on a new path, and this can be good, bad or it could make the story better. Take the one-piece adaptation, one of the only successful adaptations Netflix has made. Why is that? Because in my opinion although they made changes both big and small none of them affected the core story and is still the same as the source material . To the comment of “what’s the point if you’re just remaking it word for word” the point is to change the art form it is in and see it come alive in a different way. To take a manga or a book and turn it into a anime or a movie and yes with changes, it’s impossible to keep it one to one. But I feel the point would be to have people who will never watch campaign one because its not there thing but will watch a tv show, experience same impactful moments that I love. Bards lament is a perfect example to end this comment on. I mostly agree with everything you said about it. it couldn’t happen with the changes they made to Scanlan story so them not doing it was the right choice. Because this isn’t campaign one Scanlan anymore. This is legend of vox machina Scanlan, a different story line. even tho I wanted people to experience that moment but they can’t now. That’s the part I disagree with you on. I don’t think they can do bards lament anymore because it wouldn’t work in the story. Even your example that I agree would be the best way to do it wouldn’t make sense. The world is in danger, but you don’t want to leave your daughter. It wouldn’t make sense. Legend of vox machina isn’t an adaptation of campaign one anymore. It is its own story now and it could be better or worse…we will see. But it can’t try to be campaigns one story or it will fail like so meany other shows have. There is more I want to say but this comment is long enough. Loved the video. I respect your opinions and this is just mine.

I saw the split off into smaller duo's a really smart move actually. We've had two seasons of the group growing from a merry band of idiot together through circumstance to a found family. But as season three foreshadowed (and live stream fans know) that can't last forever. We needed them to start showcasing the smaller dynamics. We needed Percy and Vex, Keylith and Vax. We needed to see how the twins relationship had changed now that they care about other people. Pike and Scanlan were amazing. I am not one of the people upset about the lack of the bards lament because it meant we got more scanlan and pike.
