08 escape with floor or console sift lever not on the steering column. Same issue is shift into park it does not go into park, car rolls as if neutral. Do you have an adjustment for console shift?

Is it all stock other than the flow master mufflers ?

would i have to replace the whole cable if it snapped?

I started my 01 escape after driving it to the gas station i put it in drive amd i heard a snap and the shifter didnt feel right i immediately tried puting it back in park but it got stuck in neutral even though the shifter is fully up and should be in park i had to get it towed now im trying to find out how to fix it and cant find anything on it

Mine you can change the bulb from the trunk but my assembly is broken so I have to do it this way

THANK YOU, KINDLY, FOR THIS SHORT AND VERY HELPFUL VIDEO!! My son has been trying to make it back home from across the country in his 2003 Ford Escape. Unfortunately, he's had some really bad luck and very unnecessary overly expensive repairs regardin his transmission. Long story short, he was just hung up at another gas station (only 13 hrs away from home) where suddenly his shifter cable needed adjustment. The frustration levels were at a breaking point so even after investing $3,500.00 into a USeD junkyard transmission (not a rebuilt one like we'd thought... 😤), my son nearly junked the Escape and started walking home. I was confident that he'd be able to fix it himself if we could pinpoint the issue. That's where THIS VIDEO saved our ass and our sanity!!! We are so THANKFUL, GRATEFUL, and BLESSED. Without this simple DIY video, my son would've never had the confidence or clue to do what you taught us. 🤗☮️

WTF ? After 5 minutes of instructions on removing multiple of screws,seats, and panels he literally said that the trunk back panel isn’t even bolted or attached or clipped to anything!!Koreans didn’t even require a screw on the piece needed to access? They make you go around your elbow just to get to your ass hole for something that’s not bolted down. I am fucking dumbfounded . I really and truly believe they did this on purpose as a fucking joke on us Americans.

I have this light broken, and I just reinstalled all the seats after full car cleaning, I remembered the broken 3rd light just when I said "finally finished", no way in hell I'm trying that torture again, at least not today.

Nothing like making changing a bulb easy fucking designers should have to try what they design. It’s like when I did HVAC they build a house and trying to fix it is so much more works since on paper it looked easy
