Pooja Mazoomdar aka Pooja Devi, is one of the few female Bass players in India. She has always been passionate about Music. She has been trained in Hindustani classical - Harmonium and Singing since she was 7 years old. Started her journey with Western music and the Acoustic guitar after her 10th boards and she planned to take up the Bass guitar during her Engineering college days.
She is a self taught bassist and guitar player. Steve Harris and Sting have been her major influences. Her playing has been enhanced by Lesle Lewis.
After working as a Software Engineer and Biomedical Engineer for 4 years, she decided to choose Music forever and full-time.
