Why We’re Here: An Intro to Refined for Greater | EP 1
Profoundly true. The matter of leadership, especially between a husband and wife, is in no way a contest of dominance or arrogance. It's simply the chain of command, much like an assembly line. Got arranged it so that instructions are simply passed from one to the other and when that transaction is smooth, wonderful things happen.
Can we ask of this? Sometimes observing isn’t enough for me to understand
Great question! I dive deeper into this in the full episode, as well as a few others. Being observant is definitely key to proactively supporting your husband. However, it's important to note that observation shouldn't replace open communication. Asking, "How can I better serve you today?" is a powerful way to spark that important dialogue. One thing I’ve learned from my own husband is that, because he works long hours, his need for help isn’t always on his mind. Sometimes, what he really needs is rest. That’s where being observant is crucial - it allows me to recognize what he might not vocalize. I listen closely to truly understand his needs, desires, and how I can support him. I hope this brings more clarity. Thanks for the thoughtful question! - Cherrie
🔥🔥🔥

Omg!! I needed this!
Glad to hear this video brought value to you today! Thanks for sharing.
I really enjoyed this episode. Communication is a very challenging area. When breaking it down it involves so much patients and understanding, to truly understand communication within marriage or any relationship also means being patient enough understand someone's story and life experiences. Most meanings behind a person's words is based on their life experiences so in order to fully comprehend what someone is saying/meaning you must listen and ask questions. Another area to understand is we are quick to state a thought as a feeling and we must learn the difference. All communication isn't negative. We have to allow our spouse to tell the truth even if it hurts. We have to create a safe place for them to explain their thoughts and feelings even if it hurts us to hear it. Once again great episode! Watching God Work!! #RefinedforGreater
