Maroon 5 won't play it, but the Michigan Basketball Band will! This is their first performance of the classic SpongeBob SquarePants tune, arranged here by a trumpet in the band. Recorded at the Michigan vs Wisconsin game on 2/9/19.

I used my GoPro to record the final minute of the 2017 B1G Tournament Championship vs Wisconsin. I prefer the Aggie War Hymn, but The Victors is a very close second. Most iconic fight song period.
How many of you can sing the entire song? Those rollicking fun parts have lyrics too, and hardly a Michigan fan i have met can sing the whole thing...just the chorus.

THIS IS THEE GREATEST COLLEGE FIGHT SONG EVER WRITTEN! When I am down, sick, need a lift, I play this song. When I was a kid, I kept hearing this song, over and over, and wondered what it was. And when my parents got me a tape recorder, the next year I found out where the song came from, and waited for Michigan basketball, and then football games to come on tv, so I could tape it, OVER AND OVER AGAIN! But nothing beat the first time I heard it played in person, as the tears rolled down my face, and my fist pumped into the air, to the HAIL HAIL part of the Victors. Then to see that BLOCK M roll down the field, was one of the greatest things ever to happen to me! THE VICTORS MADE ME A WOLVERINE, and a lover of all college fight songs and music!
It was my ringtone even before my daughter joined the greatest Band in the world. She is in this video and I couldn’t be prouder. The first time she marched in that Block M straight to my end zone seats I got chills.
