Great review ! I will be trying out Premium for the first time soon. Based on lots of comments, including ones here, it's best to get a front row bulkhead seat. If the person in front of you reclines all the way it can be horribly cramped. I have experienced that in Economy, and I have heard that it's much worse in Premium because the seats recline much further. I understand older Airbus planes with shell seating don't allow you to invade the space of the person in back of you, but in newer planes, with newer seats, a full recline in front of you is miserable.

First row is a must for the leg room and comfort you pay for , no one can recline into your space.

Strange no hot food, it's as if they knew in advance all the ovens weren't working in the galley

The new premium economy looks just OK, nothing special. I think I'd choose economy instead base on your experience.

I would fly in PE on my incoming AF flight to HKG next week, but the gap between Economy and PE was incredibly high. More than 1.400 EUR. So, this time, I bought a seat with bigger legroom and that's all. Tks for you nice video.

Much better Lufthansa, British, or Swis Air. They are the best in crew ...that are quite unfriendly (sometimes rude and unpleasant). They manners are so curt....

BA is good for european flights but long haul I'd rather fly Emirates or Singapore Airlines

The seats were comfortable. Now they have refurbed many of these. And the seats are like sitting sitting on crates in term's of comfort.

I agree with you that Air France needs to improve its premium catering. The food and its presentation is indistinguishable from economy class. Unfortunately the ticket price is not indistinguishable from economy class. When the price is 2 to 3 times more than a normal economy ticket, the catering should reflect that difference as well. I do not expect first or business class caviar washed down with Châteauneuf-du-Pape, but sloppy grey food in plastic containers is not premium. Also, the second meal on all long-haul Air France flights is exactly the same economy class "breakfast box" regardless of the time of day. It shows lack of flair, imagination and planning. It is a scandal, as @georoldao5270 also points out, that the catering from a country renowned for it cuisine, should be this bad. Air France also lets down the Sky Team, because the catering in premium economy on airlines like Delta and KLM is a hundred times better. I fly KLM and Delta in preference to Air France because of their poor "Premium" catering.
