Nice one! Idk how tall you are but at 5’7” I thought this was easily one of the most sandbagged problems I’ve ever been on lol. HP40 levels of sandbaggery.
Sick
I probably couldn't do this myself.
Good shit man, keep up the good work!
Love the videos man! What brush pole do you use?
Ngl ur dedication and skill is crazy ur underated
its wild how easily you did this one
yeah fuck this climb
magic man back at haycock
Can you make a lost city playlist
Most epic V3 I've sent 😁 throw to the ledge feels like you're floating!
looks like fun
nice, im too afraid of the landing to try this
Goat
No clue why this is in my recommended, but nicely done sir

NICE SEND!
wow sick. I just climbed this yesterday. completely different route, way harder and scarier. shoulda peeped your video 😭
Nice! Ah, did you go further left or further right or something ? Deff gets a bit scary up there with how unbelievably dirty it is
@@rochesterinnyc i climb with a right leg prosthetic and i think it had rained a day or two before, just on-sighted the safest looking route for my left leg on the far right crack. lowkey didn't even mean to go all the way up but it was fun!
The man the myth the legend finally made it to the end of carriage road...squirting wall next??
idk man, just the walk to Even Lovely boulder from Stairmaster bottom is pretty brutal is there an easier way to get over to Squirting Wall/from the other side or something?
@@rochesterinnyc I don't believe so
steezy
I see you've been spending time up at the Carriage Road recently. Any interest in giving Daily Commute V6 a try? Or Daily Crossword? It's possible that boulder is covered in leaves and such right now, but neither line has been repeated, as far as I know.
Oh maybe! Just checked GunksApp and seems like that wall is dense/good number of decent-looking problems (which I love/appreciate when it comes to walking that far down Carriage Road)
harder than the 9?
dude, yes, 💯seriously. Holding the first left hand move felt incredibly hard
@@rochesterinnyc yup
@@rochesterinnyc yeah i feel like you could almost switch the grades
Where is this? On the gunks app
near the bottomish/one of the last fewish boulders
nicee, well done mate :)
Thanks!
Yess! Nicely done!
Thanks! Props for popularizing this variation
Beautiful!
😮 Effortless!
beast
goddamn son! matching that is bo$$ and v6..this man’s on the juice!
Thanks! Took the grade from GunksApp but don't think it's the same difficulty as all the V6 one movers on this thing... Wish I saw your vid on this with the lower hands actually since that seems like smoother/more consistent beta
Awesome send!
Thanks!
I had no idea that VCP had bouldering!?!
Just a few lines/problems in the GunksApp guidebook, but looked like there were other boulders/possible lines in the park!
Goat
Looks fricking nails for a v3
Felt like it...I did not flash this/come close to flashing this at all
Such a crazy lowball 😂
Agreed, first 2-3 moves felt brick for a V3
My absolute favorite line on this rock
Matching the smiley crimp is nuts
only beta that I could figure out personally for this elim, but I didn't see the beta vids online where folks used lower hands
Nice send was just there, didnt bring shoes tho :/
🔥🔥🔥
that kids spot technique is crayz
I only sent because of him/I felt safe with him spotting me
The sirens really set the ambiance.
that + the drug needles in the landing 👍
💯💯
NYC got some goods still
Nice. What is the landing like? 2 Pads enough?
Would prob recommend a bit more padding or a spotter instead since there's a slanted rock in half of the landing area. Though you wouldn't really need to pad the first 1-2 moves/could just use a slider I actually got my only ankle sprain on this problem years ago because of that slanted rock/there was a too-soft pad covering it
Nice. Finally looks dry over there!
Yeah I caught a nice weather window luckily, though the landing still had a mini-river/made the pads wet
Ive always respected people who can do this. Great work.
this one looks surprisingly decent
Imagine my surprise when finding out NYC has more quality stuff not in Central Park
I always did this one with the left hold for the same reason, and to me feels certainly no easier than V4 with that hold. Feels fair. Either way, nice send!
Ah yeah, think this would definitely climb/flow better with left hold on (and still be V4) Thanks!
Goat
Dude, there was literal human shit near this boulder/I see where the rock gets its name from
Hah, oops, did I go off route at the top? ruclips.net/video/l0MZzPfJs38/видео.html
Amazing work on that! It's a difficult, rewarding, and kind of scary problem... Maybe a bit more like V6?
I think Railbender is more solidly 6
@rochesterinnyc thanks for your view! I found the topout quite difficult (have no idea what you're hanging on to up there, so maybe I overlooked a crucial handhold. I remember kind of desperately pulling on bad slopers to get my feet on the ledge)... That throw from the rail to the edge out left felt like a big power/coordination test, too, respect for making it look easy!
