Erin, we haven't met yet, but I am the President of Nordic Plow and inventor of our Core Solutions line of products to reduce the footprint traditional methods of clearing core plugs from greens causes. We save significant time and thus man-power, getting the course ready for golf in half the time. Please take a minute to watch one of the many youtube videos available - search under "Core Solutions by Nordic Plow" - here is one you may enjoy ruclips.net/video/rK-SUPvPMsY/видео.html. Contact me and we'll arrange a demo for you - we are in West Chicago, IL but have many Toro distributors selling our products.
Rich, We have very large greens and the drag systems similiar to yours fill up too quickly with a 1/2"+ tine. With the smaller 1/4" tines the Nordic or other core collections systems work very well. If you are in MN anytime soon let me know.
Our Core Solutions was created at the request of a Toro distributor for that very reason. We've done greens over 120' long with no issues. Let's schedule a demo soon
Used the GoPro chesty. Need to make some adjustments on it before I can let it loose on a hound out of sight. Lena stays close and I can see her all the time. Once I am comfortable that the camera won't come off I might have to get it on a Hound this winter running coyotes.
I was born on that DAY
Did that stuff for 20 years, we shoveled the cores by hand. Core harvester is much better on the back!
we use the turfco CR15 after core plugging with no sinkage into the greens.
That core machine is nice

How did you have the camera attached to her? Would that setup stay on a hound?
Nice hunt!
Great video! Looks like the dogs did a great job. I hear that Squeak is also a bear whisperer.
Awesome!
Wish we had a core harvester!!!
Make sure you don't hit a animal uncle Erin. From Elliot.
That's crazy amounts of work.
So why sand and how often? It seems like you would only have sand and no dirt for the grass to grow in after awhile?
flanksteak2 To much organic matter, over a period of time, inhibits drainage.
this is for knowing the soil condition, rite???
