Tbh, the achilles pillows on these shoes actually bothered me a lot. It was causing some pain on my heels instead of them being comfortable. Not sure if you experienced that, too. This is also the reason why I hesitate to hoop on them.

Thank you for your knowledge and experience. I have played volleyball for 1 year and recently had a ankle injury 3 days ago. It felt very serious at impact, and was still hurting the day after. But it heals very fast. I think it is just grade 1 since I can walk fine on it now, and it does not hurt. But it feels weak, like something still wrong. Got me really worried that I have the wrong shoes or something, and I been looking at things I can buy. What kind of ankle brace are you using? And do you think my rate of injury is ok? I am doing NO proprioception balance training. Just calf raise, deadlift, and leg press. So I probably have a lot to gain from getting funky with the balance board right?

When talking about ankle support, I think there are several factors that need to be given consideration. First is the the base of the shoe-outriggers on the outsole, overall width of the shoe, which in my opinion is very good with these. There is good stability that helps avoid ankle rolls. Second, the ankle counter that gives the ankle and heel area structure, which again, is pretty good with these. Third, is how the fit is, which also helps with stability and movement, which for me was also good. So that’s why I said ankle support is good. On another note, if you are referring to the height of the shoe collar (this being a low top), many research actually conclude that it’s not a significant factor. But who knows.

Menurut saya, sebisa mungkin pakai cara fisik dulu aja mas. Kalau pakai amplas, sering diganti aja amplasnya. Pas akhir aja dipakein aseton atau organik solvent lain. Kalau lemnya masih banyak, pakai organik solvent, ngebersihinnya malah jadi lebih sulit.

I can’t say for sure bro. But from the reviews, I’m leaning to the PG6s. The Kyrie low 5s are utilitarian at best. Nothing special, but get the job done. The PGs seem to be better at almost every aspect, performance-wise.

The outsole rubber is pretty durable in my opinion. I’ve never used them outdoors though. A couple of reviewers in Indonesia mention that the outdoor durability is pretty good.

I’m not sure they’re available in the US. You might need to get them from overseas if you’re interested in them. They’re available in Japan, Indonesia, Philippines, China, as far as I’m aware. weartesters also did an initial review on these, I think they got them from a seller on eBay.

Much appreciated. 😊 I personally would go with the MB.01 lows, assuming that they’re not too different from the mid top version, especially for the fit (more accommodating for wide feet) and comfort (they’re very plush). You need to be careful with getting the right size though, as puma has different EU sizing to Nike. If you have narrow feet, are explosive on court, and like bounciness from your shoes, the KD15s are worth considering.

I have slightly wide feet like many Asians. Lebrons and KDs are very tight for me. But the invade novas are very accommodating for wide footers, in my opinion.

Thanks for the info. Here in indonesia, the prices are at the price point of the KDs, puma mb.01s, Clyde all pros, etc. Lower than top of the line Jordan’s, lebron’s and Nike GTs. Furthermore, they are often on sale, so the price is pretty good here. It might be worth noting that Asics might produce lower amounts of shoes than other established brands, thus their production price might be higher. I don’t know for sure though.

Made of same materials used for making Nike, Adidas and other popular brands thus the price.

There are college teams here in the Philippines who uses asics as their team basketball shoes but media here really seldomly hype the shoes. It always nike, adidas, puma, UA and anta were hyped.

I don’t have them anymore unfortunately. However, other shoes that I’ve re-glued have held up pretty well.

In Indonesia, they’re being sold at hoopspoint. Each country should have their official ASICS distributor.

The design of the KD15s is spot on. I didn’t appreciate the design until I held them in hand. This colorway blends the black and red colors really well. I hope you get them soon!

Saya belum pernah pakai lem alaskakipatu mas. Jadi ga bisa bandingin. Tapi kunz bagus sih asal sesuai prosedur pakenya.
