@@basssea.35mm I feel you. I'm looking at the X-T5 for client work and keeping my R8 just for Videography... I'm not good at it but ready to take a dive into it. I have the 24-70 for the R8, which was my dream lens lol.

This is the only L series RF lens I have.
My two L series lenses I have are now this one and also the 70-200 f2.8. So far for the events I’ve shot this thing is great in low light

Great lens but too heavy and a pain. I’d change to the 24-105 2.8. It doesn’t shoot like primes. A bit but not amazing. If you want sexy get the 50mm 1.2
@@newspete it is definitely a tank in weight. I think the 24-105 would be a great lens if I started all over with my lens collection. But I already have the 70-200. I’ve been shooting with the 28-70 for a couple of shoots now and really like the subject separation that comes out of this zoom lens. Weight is definitely my only con so far😅

@@onlysublime yeah that’s also heavy but I guess technically more versatile. Not sure though. I personally haven’t used that lens and don’t do much video
@@basssea.35mm I do a lot of low light events so f2 being 2x the light of f2.8 makes a big difference

I have Rf 24-70 f2.8 Rf 70-200 f2.8 Rf 50 f 1.2 Rf 85 f1.2 Rf 35 f 1.8 Rf 24-105 f2.8 Rf 100 f 2.8 Rf 100-500 f 4.5-7.1 I like 28-70 because it doesn’t have fringing, chromatic aberration and low constant at f2 like 24-70 at 2.8. It much better. 70-200 also magnificent zoom. But 24-70 f 2.8 24-105 f2.8 and 24-105 f4 has this issues. It’s sad. 28-70 has quality of prime lenses.
@@goldenstasgs that’s a dope collection and yeah I agree with the prime look! I wanted to see if I liked it better than my 24-70 and I did like the image quality more. I also have the 70-200 f2.8. Love that lens. I used to use only primes but with the demand for my work now I need more versatility and I haven’t been disappointed. 35mm is my favorite focal length but I see horrible reviews on the new one
