Invisible Fresh Market Seafood
Добавлен 15 дек 2020
Invisible fresh market seafood is a family owned and operated seafood market that's dedicated to bringing the highest quality seafood directly from the fishermen. We catch, clean, pack, and sell everything ourselves with no middleman involved, therefore resulting in the best price for the consumer. Our shop is located in Homer Alaska, but we can ship anywhere in the United States. For great quality halibut, sablefish, rockfish, cod, and crab, call or text us at 907 756 8040 or visit our website at Invisibleseafood.com.
Variety of Halibut, Smallest to Biggest.
This is roughly an average string we pulled. We got 45 fish that weighed a total 1213 pounds. We also show what a legal halibut is, which is 11 pounds or 32 inches and higher. while fishing, we mostly catch 15 to 20 pound halibut, and every now and then, we get some monsters like we did on this string. Anything above 80 pounds is pretty rare, and we might get one in a week of fishing, we got lucky on this string and pulled multiple 80+ pound fish.#alaska #fishing #halibut #longline #seafood #hugefish

If y’all need a deckhand I can tie hooks, bait hooks and cut bait fast I’ve been doing that since I was 5-6yrs old just looking to get my foot in the door longlining plus I know my knots Right across the bay from homer
Hey, I appreciate the offer, but we are a family business, and we usually just fish on our boats ourselves and don't really need to hire deckhands.
Roger that love the videos keep em up
@@Invisibleseafood Looking to fish out of Homer this fall just right across the bay in Nanwalek
And this is why there is big ones left YALL go out and catch them all they don’t really have a good chance to grow and they are like all other fish OVER FISHED .. overfishing is going to catch up with us in a little while and we’re not gonna have any fish left so thanks for all you guys out there. Drain in our resources appreciate it.
The halibut fishery is one of the most managed fisheries in Alaska. We are able to catch a very certain amount of pounds of it per year, it's called IFQ. And the amount of IFQ that we are able to catch is regulated by NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). Plus we as fishermen tend to do as much as we can to help this industry survive because it's a way of life for me, if all the halibut is caught out I will be out of a job.
@@Invisibleseafoodbro there’s no point trying to talk to a brick wall. Only informed fishermen like us and the non ignorant will understand what you’re saying. Tight lines! 🎣
🙂

We run 75 slinky pots per string.
