The only issues I have with this car! The driver and passenger seats are horrible. I’m always sliding forward. There is no lumbar support. They need an arm rest instead of using middle console.

Bad info. Even when this video was made the cost to replace the door handle mechanisms to the newer version was much less than $1k. Closer to $300. My used 2015 MS handles were already replaced when I bought it and I drove it for 120k miles and 6 years without one problem with them.

Just a great education in the discussion with regards to driving a ten year-old Tesla Model S. I felt your 'relief' when you finally cracked the Door Handle Issue on your Model S. It is a great - looking model, deserving to work properly! And you're the man! I have a 1971 Beetle EV, running on Tesla Model S batteries. No fancy stuff to go wrong. Over the last 5 years, the EV Beetle has been simply brilliant. It handles the heat, and also the badly-flooded roads, and performs like any Beetle shouldn't! Greetings from Australia.

When I'm driving my now ancient, mechanical pre-OBD Peugeot 505 SW8 through Newport back to Laguna, I'll think of this video often. Still with original power windows and door locks.......

The only problem I've had with my S in 8 years is the door handles, and Tesla did them right at my workplace and did them in less than 45 minutes complete.
