I first played this game back in 2010 and I remember the first thing I hear is Alkaline Trio: Mercy Me. As soon as I started the game that song played and i just froze and listened to it and fell in love with it and became my favorite song ever since. I come from a place where no opportunities are provided whatsoever and stuck in a loop. You can call it being born in a 3rd world country. This song always got me through countless hard ships and a couple s word attempts. Still does. The line “So Drive yourself insane tonight It’s not that far away and I just Filled up your tank earlier today” means to me that everything is dark, no illusion of thought or excuses to see hope in right now or the future or the past. But you still drive through the abys the absolute darkness the void without needing reason. Simply staying alive. And seeing what happens anyway. Now I do far better compared to those days. I am healthier stronger smarter better and all that good stuff. And I am all too happy to still look in the mirror and see myself. I don’t regret not giving up whatsoever.
