Alaska Art Fund (AAF) 20th Anniversary Video

In 2023, Museums Alaska celebrated 20 years of the Alaska Art Fund (previously the Art Acquisition Fund) grant program. With the support of Rasmuson Foundation, we have been able to fund art purchases from living Alaskan artists by museums and cultural centers for over 20 years now. New stories from diverse voices have been added to our museums and cultural center's collections and the funding has gone to artists to pay for their artwork, which helps local economies.
Thank you to the Rasmuson Foundation for supporting such a unique and beautiful grant program and allowing us to manage it for over 20 years.
