This trail has a lot of tourist activity. If you're looking for solitude in nature then this isn't it. But, if you want to meet people while in nature then it's great. I've come across people here from all over the globe every time.

You left off the part where the canyon is brutally chopped in two and blocked by a Forest Highlands gated development road.

Hey I'm looking to propose on a easy hike in flagstaff with lots of trees. This seems like the place from just researching, any place in mind, tips, or good vantage points here?

If your time in the area is limited then you are better off visiting other trails.

In most cases you will need to first travel down Cypress Trail (~1 mile) to reach this loop.

This isn't really a hiking trail, but it does connect to several nearby trails. You could take a short stroll here and in the surrounding area.

This trail has some nice points, like at the summit, but I don't think it's worth a special trip all on its own. If you are in Sedona for a limited time then you may be better off visiting other trails instead.

You can reach this trail from different locations. You may travel on a different road from what you see here. Just as a warning, one of those other roads is unpaved and quite rough.
