What a horrible video!
Wish it was slow motion
Sorry, wasn't trying to have a 45min long video, and since 6years ago I've lost the original video. You can slow down YT to .25speed.
Can this not be deleted?
sir! how you snapped off these 10mm bolts from the tube/gasket? use bolt cutter? I tried but it's tooo tight. is it welded?? I have new secoundary bulbs and I wanna install it asap...thanks for your video!
No breaking or cutting off any bolts, all the bolts were loosened and then reused for the install.
@@andrew_gardner Thank you!! I try again!! best regards :)
There's no purpose of showing this video ,you are the only one that knows what's going on , maybe next time I se If I can get me fast motion eyes none sense
You're welcome, I am happy to share my fix with you. Look in the description for the link to tacomaworld forum where I explained it all.
This pump can be removed permanently?
No, the ECU requires the good signal from this module to work. When the unit fails the Tacoma goes into Limp mode and can't be driven over 35mph(from my memory). You would need to put in some sort of unit to send a good signal to the ECU.
What's the front pulley
Cool, what did you change to add the ailerons? I would like to do that to mine
I sliced the wing, only partially through, where it has the dihedral. I then pushed it flat and glued to keep the wing flat. I then installed the servos on the bottom of the wing where they would best sit to push the surfaces, and ran a small slice in the bottom of the wing to run the wires inside the wing. I the sliced the aileron free along the indent lines that are in the stock wing. I placed control horns into the aileron and adjusted push rods to length needed. Unfortunately I crashed this plane and ripped the wires from one servo so I haven't been able to fly the aileron wing since shortly after having made this video. Check out my new RC channel, the one I am responding from. I thought I moved all my RC videos over, but guess I missed a few ;)
I just noticed in this video I still had the dihedral in the wing. But after the first attempted flight I realized that the dihedral was adversely impacting the roll and flattened the wing as I explained in the other reply.
@@NoAgendaFPV you should just make a video showing how you did it.
@@nategirvigian411 If i had the Champ still I would. She is in pieces now, mostly trashed sadly. I have considered getting another and swapping out the Spektrum Brick for an FrSky one though. If I do I will try to remember to do videos about it.

How long did this take u?
MrFreddy604 I believe it was only an hour or two
nevenelestate did u buy the valve from the dealer?
nevenelestate I just took mine today to toyota dealerships I’ll see how much they gonna charge me 🤦🏻♂️
MrFreddy604 there is a link in the video description to the thread on tacomaworld with all the info and pictures.
I clicked on the vid for the Cherokee
Twerkn wish I got more video of the XJs, but the one was leading our group most of the time and the other was behind me. So only got a few short bits.
nevenelestate cool vid though!!
extremely sick setup
I think there is an unwritten rule that if you have a beard you're supposed to use an axe..
Jesse Kent if you had a beard then you would know you use a maul, not an axe, to split wood. And I do that too ;)
Tomato, Tomato
It is very nice, what SW did you use to display the speed and elevation?
I used Dashware, but I would suggest looking for a different product. The software was recently purchased by GoPro and now it doesn't work, and the customer service to try to get it figured out took 2 weeks to reply to my initial question about why it doesn't work.
And now that they answered you it works?
No, I gave up trying to work with them, once I realized GoPro took it over I knew it would go down hill. Go to Dashware.net and it is a free download now, good luck to you at getting it working. Also, you need a camera that records the GPS, Contour +2 and Sony Action cams I know do this. All currently released GoPro cameras do not.
Thank you!!
anyway you can upload the video in realtime for n00bs like me?
Go here, pictures and description of what you need to do. www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-valve-swap-for-secondary-air-injection-system-p2440-and-p2442.480436 (link in the description also)
set video at .5 speed to give a fairly good sense of what's happening
Looks like a place jeep posers go to so they can tell their buddies they've been "off-roading or crawling"
Oh the emax 1806 motor did exceptional well with the big wing!
What size tires?
Very good friend I'm building a mirage 2000 in depron too
Awesome truck. Just an off road beast!
"So the Fords cant make it". Didnt see that guy on the trails tho...
What are your thoughts on lightly scuffing before you spray, so it adheres better?
Part of the nice thing about PD is that if you c hange your mind you can peel it off and go back to original finish. For that reason I would not scuff it. Additionally I have never had issues with the PD not adhering or losing adhesion over time. My grill on my Tacoma was chrome colored plastic, like the emblem in the video, and it has been covered in PD for several years now with now issues. The PD guys, DipYourCar youtube channel, suggest using a pre-spray wash that they sell ruclips.net/video/YfrgLsEMX2g/видео.html
Love the fact that me almost flipping over is what ended the video haha
Saved the best for last ;)
It looks like it crashed from one of the motors stopping on you
I stopped the motor, I had it setup so that on full yaw input it would go full on one motor and cut the other. This allows you to flat spin. The problem I had is that I didn't pull out of the spin high enough and wasn't able to get enough forward speed before hitting the ground.
nevenelestate Id have to say flat spinning sounds like a danger. Id run without personally.
It's something fun to do, the plane looks funny spinning through the air, and the challenge is to regain forward flight before impacting the ground. This video ruclips.net/video/cSQNR7rJSg8/видео.html shows several successful examples.
Hi i am thinking about getting a FPV wing and i had some bad exsperiances hand launching RC planes.Any tips?
+Andy Black Center of Gravity! You have to make sure your the CoG is right ro a wing will give you big problems. Also need to make sure you have a little up deflection in the elevons, they should both be slightly up when the servos are at the mid position. If you don't have that trimmed out right it will either nose into the ground when tossed into the air, or it will fly a bit nose up, nose up is far easier to fly around to get it landed and adjust down. For the toss itself you want to be sure to let go of the wing without twisting it. If you hold too tight or twist your wrist as you release, it will make the wing come out of your hand all wobbly. This is recoverable, but only if there are no obstacles in the take off area and if you have enough altitude on the toss. I tend to toss the plane at about 35-45degs up, that way it is high enough to gain speed before hitting the ground. But too high and it will stall out. The biggest thing with a pusher wing is that you need forward speed to give the control surfaces any authority. The new Flight Test Arrow is a nice wing, but might be a bit fast for first time FPV wing. I haven't gotten a chance to fly it FPV yet, but it definitely needs a little more forward speed than the Versa Wing does. Hope that helps, if not let me know and I'll see if I can think of any other pointers.
You got a do terrain park
We were just having a chill day, I didn't get put last year so I wasn't going to push it.
Volt_ TryHardz please check out my channel! Just posted my first time at round top
Your ok
what size motor are you running what kv ?
Emax 1806
Great video. What did you use to paint the plane?
it is colored packing tape, from tapebrothers.com
Excellent, thank you. Look forward to more videos of the Guinea Pig!
Hey great idea! I also just posted a video of doing the same thing :) We should have a soccer game against each other!

Nice flight. Gotta love the Versa. Heading out to lunch with mine, 20mph winds, we'll see:) Thanks for the video.
Ouch. What rx/tx you using?
Dave Mason Spektrum AR6100e, I think one of the servos might have jammed up and messed with it. I will try to post once/if I figure out what is up.
That would explain it. As it came over, I can hear the power being reduced which told he the tx/rx must still be communicating. You called this a mini versa, how much reduction?
Dave Mason forum.flitetest.com/showthread.php?19439-Neve-s-70-Blunt-nise-Versa-Wing-build
nevenelestate nice job. Like the 70%. built a 60% Versa tractor and have yet to get it to fly. I may try your plan.
Is the Sea Duck a one off design? It looks amazing, how does it fly?
Courtney Greene It is a one off, based off of the Flite Test Mini Guinea. I hope to have plans available for others, but it will be at least June till I get too it again. It flies really well, I haven't gotten around to trying it on water yet.
I will definitely wait patiently for those plans.
Great! Are they ping pong balls? How did you a attach them?
They are ping pong balls. I cut a hole that is smaller than the lip on the bottom of the leg, the part that holds the rubber foot. I used an exacto knife to carefully cut the hole. I put link to a RCgroups post I did in the description, here it is also www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1892499&page=155#post27920247
Even if it fell in the water it wouldn't break. It's also able to fly it self back up to the surface if it falls to far under water. It's water proof! Don't believe me? Try it or theirs videos on RUclips proving it
where did u buy your copter at? thanks Derek
Getting a little shaky there
Yup those umx as3x planes are great. I had to share this with my son since he's a beginner.
So many oh shit moments...I kept thinking it's just a matter of time before you kit this plane. Was the damage bad?
So many oh shit moments...I kept thinking it's just a matter of time before you kit this plane. Was the damage bad?
Yeah this is my first plane, I've actually completely rebuilt it once. It's such a sturdy plane, I've flown it with lots of glue and tape with good flight results.
Haha.... is this for real? or possibly April fool's joke ;-) Anyway, your experiments are fun to watch. I'm glad no quad was hurt during filming. And I think ping pong balls are a great idea!
Wow I'm impressed the little X4 can take off with 1 additional camera. And the video looked pretty stable! Well done.
Buy the HD camera fir that case, install it without the stock lens twist the 808 lens D into that camera, excellent video wide angle, no sound so add music. Even better buy a v252 rtf and install that board in it and use the v252 radio. Way more range and smooth flight control (not Hubsan twitchy) add the Devo 7e and make it even better.
I bought a HD camera module, swapped the lens for the 808 #16 lens D. While trying to get it in focus I ran the bottom of the lens into the sensor, ruined. Just need to order another at some point.
Tree limbs are evil. =) Nice flying though! Gotta love those 808 #16 cams!
in a straight line the r6 is faster, in the twisties the SV is the king

Okay, thank you very much for the information and links. Very much appreciated!
What type of battery did you use? I am interested in increasing my Proto X's flight time. Did you have any balance issues with the larger battery and how did you secure it to the board? Did the black body shell fit over the larger battery?
I got the battery from an RC copter I had laying around. My buddy bought some connectors that watch the Proto X battery connection and we soldered one to the larger battery. I believe he said that the 180mAh battery is 2grams heavier. i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q699/NoAgendaRacing/Quadcopters/IMG_20140119_095826540_HDR2_zps95a7f134.jpg I used a small rubber band (from the pet store, used to close the bags they sell fish in) to secure the OEM and new larger battery. i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q699/NoAgendaRacing/Quadcopters/IMG_20140119_095842025_HDR2_zps4119ebbe.jpg OEM battery i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q699/NoAgendaRacing/Quadcopters/IMG_20140119_095914193_HDR2_zps55e71568.jpg Larger battery (it is unplugged in the picture) i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q699/NoAgendaRacing/Quadcopters/IMG_20140119_095754645_HDR2_zpsf67fbe82.jpg Side-by-side comparison i1354.photobucket.com/albums/q699/NoAgendaRacing/Quadcopters/IMG_20140119_095914193_HDR3_zps2e933709.jpg Because the battery is in the same location the accelerometers don't have much/any trouble balancing the copter out. I have not gotten a chance to do a good comparison of flight times with the different batteries. I do not fly with the black housing on top, haven't tried to fit it over the larger battery.
