Join me as I take a ride on the Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. The incline opened for operation on May 20, 1877. It cost $47,000 to build. I ran the Pittsburgh Marathon on May 7, 2023. I started having stomach issues at mile 16 and was forced to walk most of the remaining 10 miles. I am grateful that I was still able to finish. Hiking the trails thru Frankfurt Mineral Springs in Western Pennsylvania and touring the Frankfurt Resort ruins from the 1800's. The wealthy use to visit the resort to drink from the springs believing it cured different illnesses. The resort burned down in the 1920's and the state purchased the property in the 1960's to expand Racoon Creek State Park.

Ive had cards come back min size, SGC and PSA. Take another card and overlay them. Personally I won't send a card in for grading without doing that first now. You'll see pretty quick if it's actually undersize or not. Some cards just get cut small.
Forgot to mention, awesome cards. I'm a 90s collector. Those Jordan superstars are the bomb. Nice stuff.

The only way to get proper grades from psa and any grading company is to work there previously and know everyone there. They will protect themselves and their corporation collections and give you bad grades to protect the population of 10's and make you pay for it
Nice taste in cards
Chipping on a card is never going to garner an 8, more like a 5-6. Your talking about a grade 8 or 9 on perfectly centered cards with perfect corners where surface scratches show up under a microscope.

Congrats on the finish. I did the half and due to knee issues had to walk the last 6 miles. Just hate the Birmingham bridge. It’s all up hill.

Great job pushing through to the finish! From one back of the pack to another THANK YOU for posting! I didn't see a lot of police or safety worker at the intersections...was that the case? Do you recommend this race for back of the pack?
I would recommend it. I enjoy doing it because of getting to run thru a lot of rhe Pittsburgh area neighborhoods along with starting/finishing in downtown Pittsburgh.

this felt familiar. i injured my knee at mile 10 of my first marathon and hobbled my way through the last miles. it was disappointing and a different experience than I'd hoped for, but the accomplishment you feel for doing the hard thing is hard to beat. congrats on the finish!
