Great video! I really like your style and how you built the interest, congratulations. I suggest to the roguelikes superfun (like myself) to not stop at the strong introduction. Even though I don't agree with the repetitivness being such a big flaws in roguelikes. I mean, of course it's possible, but it depends on the amount of content provided. I played already a good amount of roguelikes and I have many of them with more than 100 hours, in which I add the chance to try always different things. Also, "when you reach the final boss you're done" in roguelikes it's definitely not true 😉 as you know since you provided a lot of footages from different games. One for all: The Binding of Isaac. When you beat Mum for the first time, you just completed the tutorial. For the multiplayer aspect... There are already roguelikes with multiplayer! Again for repetitivness, it's definitely decreased with alternative biomes and items/playable characters (as you mentioned later in the video). But repetitivness is less noticeable with variety and often doesn't seem a negative aspect of the game. Still, you're point is absolutely correct because there are some roguelikes that suffer of repetitivness and you leave them after like 15 hours. But those are the bad roguelikes. Again, great analysis (and great choice of title 😋)! Hahahah the end is great! To be honest, a bit of repetitivness in the video is present, but it's absolutely ok and, as many roguelikes, enjoyable 😉 Congrats!

Indie devs do their games because they love it, with passion, that’s what I want, that’s what I’m looking for. Culitc, Dusk, BPM, Boltgun, Cruelty Squad, Ultrakill. A few exemples of recent ones I really enjoyed and recommend. Bless indie devs.

I've yet to love a roguelike i've played & i own 6 of them (Hades, Dead Cells, Moonlighter, One Step of Eden, Crypto the necrodancer & i dont remember its name). All of them were bought because i was hooked by their artstyle. I'm so done with it

I know that I am way late to this video but I believe that the wizard of legend franchise is going to make a comeback due to the sequel later into 2024.

I think for me the time I really understood just how overpowered the simple development strategy of a roguelike fps is, is when Roboquest changed their core system away from stat-based. I loved the stat-based system but even with it gone, despite enjoying the new less, I can still have a lot of fun in the game
